Great Tour Affordable Price - Great experience for a very good price. You go to the same place (Extreme Adventures) a lot of other vendors go to but this price was a lot more affordable. Was skeptical at first because no reviews but glad I booked. The only thing is it was more like 6 hours with transportation from Cancun then 4. So make sure you allow enough time!

Beware—deceptive info and no accountability! - Beware: deceptive advertising. We booked a tour for 11:30 am and were told we would be picked up at our hotel located in the Cancun Hotel Zone. We waited in front of the hotel at 11:30 the day of the tour but when no one came, we started making inquiries and learned that pick up time was apparently 8:30 am that morning. This WAS NOT communicated when we booked the tour. The tour company said they had sent an email the night before about the 8:30 pick-up time, so they they didn’t feel obligated to refund the money. Again, no one told us we were supposed to be monitoring our emails for last minute updates or communicated that pick-up time would be something other than 11:30.. Also, what’s with sending a shuttle 3 hours before the activity when the activity was only 30 minute drive away from the hotel zone? Viatar also refused to issue a refund. We’ve booked through Viatar many time s over the years for these types of excursions and have never had these kinds of problems. We expected better. Our family of five missed out on precious vacation activity time and we’re out $300. Would recommend avoiding this tour company in the future, and thinking twice before booking through Viator because they don’t have your back when the tour provider falls short.
