Best boat trip on Madeira! - If you’re looking for an amazing experience, Madeira Sea Emotions is the one and only! We hiked to the end of the Ponta de São Lourenço trail, where we were offered a boat trip around the peninsulas—it was an absolutely incredible experience! We got to see and feel the power of the ocean waves, a thrilling adrenaline rush. Additionally, the endpoint of the trip was just a 10-minute walk from the parking lot, so we didn’t have to hike back the same way.
The second time, we took a whale-watching tour with them, which turned out to be one of the most memorable moments of my trip to Madeira. The crew is amazing—so friendly and professional. They go above and beyond to ensure every boat trip is an unforgettable memory. You can tell how much the staff enjoy what they do. I felt very safe and well taken care of throughout the entire experience. Thank you!

Sensational experience - I took my clients on this tour at the tip of São Lourenço. My clients loved the tour, it was very fun and the guide was very friendly and cared about the well-being of the passengers. Well explained the types of marine animals that exist in Madeira and we saw the dolphins. Everyone was very pleased with this experience. The booking process was very efficient without any problems. I recommend!

Amazing experience! - We recently returned from a week in Madeira, and one of the highlights was our dolphin and whale watching adventure with Madeira Sea Emotions. Nicole was so helpful to help us organise a last minute excursion to celebrate our daughter’s birthday. Although our first excursion didn’t yield any sightings, the team at Madeira Emotions went above and beyond to organize a second tour for us. On this trip, we were thrilled to spot striped dolphins!
The experience was truly magical, and we enjoyed it so much that we ended up booking a third excursion to see even more!
Special thanks to our marine biologist Joao, who is extremely knowledgeable and passionate. He is so friendly and explained so much about the sea animals during the whole tour, making the experience incredibly fun memorable for us and both our children!

Great tour! - The tour is highly recommended! We have seen Pilot Whales and Bottelnose Dolphins - sometimes very close and with calf. Our guide Joao told many exciting facts about the animals and provided a good atmosphere. When there were no animals around, the tour was still a lot of fun, as the captain Filipe boarded over the waves fast. At the end there is still the possibility to go swimming in dreamlike clear water from the boat.

Wonderful afternoon with the Whales. - What an amazing experience! . Our guide was knowledgeable and his enthusiasm made the trip really special. We were lucky to see a pod of pilot whales . We then had some fun speeding around the island and had a quick stop for a dip in the sea. The water was warm and pleasant. Overall, it was a fantastic trip which I would highly recommend.

Lovely afternoon at sea - I booked directly through their website. This saved some money. Having a marine biologist on board to explain pilot whale behavior and habitat was a great bonus. The captain was very competent and it was a completely smooth ride. Very professional outfit.

Fun and very nice tours! - We did both the Lighthouse View I Boat Tour and the 2-hour whale watching tour. Both were really very nice and fun.
Both guides we had were super nice, professional and very good. An experience that I will remember with great pleasure and recommend to friends!

Fun trip out - We had a wonderful trip, saw dolphins and pilot whales as well as several bird species.
Our crew were very friendly and we got the chance to swim at the end of the trip.
We did another trip with a different operator from Funchal and it was not as good as this one.

Super experience on the dolphin and whale boat tour - Good explanation both in advance, on the boat and after the trip. We have seen 2 species. Very super to do. Respect for the animals is of paramount importance.
