Exceptional experience - Excellent experience and the Inflight team were very thorough. Pilot Rob took us on a magical tour around Mt Cook, the surrounding mountains and glaciers. We were very fortunate to have perfect weather and the landing on the snow was brilliant.

An amazing way to “peak” your New Zeland trip - Really relaxed experience, there were 6 passenger spots on the helicopter we flew on, on the flight up I had the window seat and had AMAZING views. The flight back I had a middle seat (allowing everyone to have a good view throughout the trip) but I could still see everything. The pilot was relaxed and made us all more relax as none of us had flown in a helicopter before. The sites were stunning and the experience as a whole was worth the money! Would recommend

the glacier /the scenery... - the glacier /the scenery is wonderful, the pilot is friendly. it is recommended while in Mt.Cook. unfortunately I had to separate with my family because of seat capacity, but the woman (I didn't know her name) at the office had tried to manage it, I appreciated that.

What a huge glacier! - Land on top of the Tasman Glacier and take a glacier walk. The ice is blue and beautiful. I wear crampons, so I feel safe. Be careful not to fall into cracks or holes, and explore the holes that are in season. The ice is cold, but perhaps because of its strong reflection, it's not that cold when the sun is out. I'm glad we were blessed with just the right weather. The view from the helicopter was also amazing. I was surprised that the helicopter flew more smoothly than I expected.

Just do it! - What great fun! It was exciting in the ski plane; especially landing on the glacier. Then the helicopter ride back was very different but equally exciting. The views from both were great and the pilots very friendly and entertaining. Do it!

Didn’t leave with smile on our faces - We booked the the ultimate alpine experience which takes you (by skiplane) to the Tasman glacier and land you back on the ground by helicopter: Plus: Friendly and competent pilots amazing weather (we got lucky) the landing on Tasman glacier was really cool Minus The experience is supposed to be an ‘ultimate scenic alpine experience, but the flights were clearly overbooked. Not everyone got a window seat, so the flights were certainly a dead fish Ground staff didn’t get further than “we’ll take it up with the higher ups, hope you have a great rest of the day” . Most companies explicitly advertize that everyone gets. window seat, you’re better off booking with one of those

Buyer Beware - I booked the Helicopter Tour through Victoria and was told to call the day of the tour to confirm. I did so and was told that we were on go. I drove 1 1/2 hours to Mt. Cook Airpot, only to be told at the Airport that my tour had been canceled for insufficient number of customers. I was further told at the Airport that I should have received an email notifying me of the cancellation, but that the agent could see that no email had been sent. There were no further openings until the next day which didn’t work for my schedule. When I asked for a refund, I was told that I had to go back through aviator for the refund. I never received any communication from aviator either acknowledging or apologizing the cancellation or offering a refund. The first communication initiated by aviator was the request for a review. In the meantime I had to track down a telephone number for Customer Support (not easy to do), call and wait for 30 minutes and then beg for a refund. I was told that they would look into the situation and get back to me within 48-72 hours to notify me of their decision whether or not to refund the $780+ charge. The refund was finally approved, but not worth the hassle. Stay away from Viator for this booking as they can’t produce and it is hard to get your money back.

BAD service and be ready to spilt up - Our family of 4 booked the 45min alpine flight with the hotel the day before. We were told to be picked up at 345pm, time provided by the heli staff at infinite. We arrived early and was picked up punctually. When we arrived we were shocked to be told we will be split into 3 in one group and another 1 in another heli. We weren’t told beforehand on this arrangement and the staff just brushed off saying 1) they “understand “ but (just too bad for us)? 2) because we were last to arrive and late. 3) tried to review but the company or TripAdvisor blocked me For (1), they tried to ask the other family to be spilt and I can understand why nobody booking together will want to spilt up. Hence I don’t blame other families nor impose on them. Similarly this is our first flight that we want to take together 2) the time for pickup was dictated by infinite not us, so why were we being blamed? 3) I am unable to load this review so using another mobile. Somehow it seems infinite blocked my review.
