Highlights

Cao Bang – Ban Gioc waterfalls – Nguom Ngao Cave – Overnight in Cao Bang

Ban Gioc Waterfall - Detian Falls - Ban Gioc Waterfall is one of Vietnam’s most impressive natural sights. Located in the northeastern province of Cao Bang, the falls are 30 metres high and 300 metres across, making Ban Gioc the widest (but not the highest) waterfall in the country. The falls occur on the Quay Son River, a beautiful jade-blue body of water flowing from China through a pastoral landscape of rice fields and bamboo groves surrounded by limestone pinnacles. Despite improved road access and public transportation connections, and the popularity of several recent viral drone videos showcasing the majesty of the falls, Ban Gioc is still a relatively off-the-beaten-path sight. Mass tourism has yet to arrive and, outside of weekends and public holidays, there’s rarely more than a trickle of foreign and domestic visitors.

Nguom Ngao Cave - Nguom Ngao Cave is a natural wonder nestled in Gun Village of Cao Bang Province in Northern Vietnam, which lies in close proximity to the Vietnam-China border. This province is known for its stunning natural beauty, with lush mountains, picturesque valleys, and enchanting waterfalls.

Cao Bang – Pacbo cave – Lenin Stream - Cao Bang

Pac Bo Cave - Pac Bo Cave is one of the best known historic sites among Vietnamese, famous for being a temporary home to Ho Chi Minh, founder of Vietnam’s Communist Party

Pac Bo Cave (also known as Coc Bo) is named after a small village in Cao Bang Province that served as Ho Chi Minh’s settlement in the winter of 1941 following his return after 30 years in exile. It has become a popular tourist attraction with the Ho Chi Minh Shrine, Lenin Creek and Karl Marx Peak.

Additional Information

You want to immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the northern mountainous region and experience the magnificence of the mountains, caves, waterfalls, etc. This tour is for you. One of the four largest international waterfalls in the world, and certainly one of the most well-known in Vietnam, is the Ban Gioc Waterfall. Travelers from all over the world have been flocking there in recent years to take in its distinctively peculiar natural beauty. Ban Gioc Waterfall is located in Dam Thuy Commune (Cao Bang City), which is 335 kilometers from Hanoi. The western side of the waterfall is owned by Vietnam, while the eastern side is claimed by China. As a result, indigenous ethnic communities in the Ban Gioc Waterfall area contribute a great range of cultural traditions.

Great company with excellent customer services - I decided to book a private tour for my family since we have elderly people in my family. Katie arranged everything for us and the communication was such great. She promptly responded to all of our requests and help us from beginning to end of the trip. The driver and your guide were arranged by her are amazing. they are very patient to us and took care of our family kindly. The foods are absolutely amazing. The recommendation for places to visit was the highlight of the trip. We visited all the best places within 2 days. We will use services again when we come back Vietnam.

The food was so good - We went on the 2-day tour, and it was the perfect mix of sightseeing and culinary exploration. Sure, the scenery was stunning but the real highlight for us was the food. We were absolutely blown away! It was sad to leave, but our bellies were certainly full.

Impressed - Mike was right on time collecting us from our hotel (an issue we had in the past with other tours). We had an explanation on the history of Pac Bo, the indigenous people and the Nguom Ngao cave. Mike, our guide, was friendly, informative, and made sure we had a great time. Also, the advantage of a private tour is the personal attention, no stress re-timing, and adaptable itinerary, which really added to the experiece. Strongly recommend!
