As you navigate through various challenging rapids, take care to spot Bighorn Sheep and diverse wildlife indigenous to this corner of Colorado. The river section is designed for novices to intermediate level participants and can accommodate children aged 6 years and above. It is advisable to possess swimming skills and be physically fit with a good balance. If paddling is not your thing, you can easily just hold on and float along the river. The entire river journey will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours.

• Dress appropriately for wet conditions. We recommend swim suits, shorts or synthetic garments. Always avoid cotton.
• Secure footwear such as sport sandals are ideal. Flip flops, slip-on sandals and Crocs are not deemed appropriate footwear.
