It was a good time by all, and we'll definitely do this again. - We're locals and we thoroughly enjoyed our time. Our host Erin was very friendly and pleasant. We took the evening train ride, and it was pretty awesome and somewhat romantic. All the passengers around our car and the outside open-air car were all friendly and talkative. While stopped on the hanging bridge to view the lighted Royal Gorge Bridge 1,052 feet above, a passenger inadvertently dropped their keys onto the trackside side below. No worries said the conductor. He went down to the track and retrieved the keys, and the trip continued. It was a good time by all, and we'll definitely do this again.

A great way to spend time with friends and family - My husband and I took my father-in-law on the lunch train in October. I also took two visiting friends in the spring. It's a very enjoyable ride. A great way to spend the afternoon. The views are lovely. We all enjoyed the food. We had salads, hamburgers, chicken nuggets, and cocktails. Be sure to get an order of the homemade chips. The staff is great. Everyone is very friendly and attentive. Our server Katy was the best. She always checked in on us. We had some informative conversations with her. An asset to the company. We'll be back!

Awesome!!! - The ride is awesome, I wouldn't have purchased the tickets for a seat, as I spent all the time in the outside car for the views. The food was also an unnecessary purchase and was not good. There is a guy named Michael who knows a lot of facts along the ride, sure you want to hear them and he also knows when to take the best photos. Be sure to be near him!

The experience overall... - The experience overall was one of a kind. Not something you get to do everyday. Customer service from all the staff we encountered was excellent. The length of the train ride was just enough and we saw some beautiful views. The only downside I feel was that the ticket price didn’t include anything complementary (i.e., a drink or small appetizer).

We felt so ripped off - 1 they put us on the side of the mountain where we only see just the wall of the mountain. We paid an extra $45 for no reason and we ended up staying outside on the open rail.
