Great Experience! - Yesterday our family of 19 went on the Royal Gorge Railroad. We had the most fabulous experience. We found the staff extremely accommodating to our large group that included 6 children ages 1-11 (most being very young). The views were breathtaking! We had the vista view car, which was great! We also went to the open air car for an even closer view of the gorge. This is a must do when visiting this area of Colorado. Erin was our server. Her and the rest of the staff were wonderful! The food and drinks were delicious and promptly served. We even weee told much history of the area from Erin. Thank you to the Royal Gorge Railroad for providing this wonderful experience and for being so accommodating of our large group!

Dissappointing. - Very disappointed. Nothing to see especially on the the opposite side of the Akansas River. Definitely not fair value for the upgraded car. Should have been able to reserve seats based on the previous reviews as there was absolutely nothing to see on the non river side. I booked very early expecting to be on the river side. Expected a table and chairs for two for my sister visiting from Australia and I. You have to sit opposite another couple on a shared table. Food and drink was very not even close to reasonable. A disappointing experience all the way around. I expected to see the Royal Gorge Bridge but that was not possible from the Delux car. Only from the Vista car, which was not available when I booked and the open car where you stand out in 90 degree heat. Very disappointed and will not recomend
