• Kakum National Park - Upon arrival, the first stop will be a designated pick-up location for travelers. The journey will then continue to Kakum National Park. The main attraction is the canopy walkway, which is suspended 30 meters (98 feet) above the forest floor and features seven suspended bridges.
• Cape Coast Castle - After the adventure at Kakum, the historical exploration will proceed with a visit to the Cape Coast Slave Castle. This site is of great significance, and the guides will provide insightful narratives to deepen understanding of this historical landmark.
• Assin Manso Ancestral Slave River Park - The Slave River (Donkor Nsuo)
  On the way to the coastal dungeon, slave merchants stopped at Donkor Nsuo, known as “the slave river,” in Assin Manso. This location was of great importance in the journey of captured Africans.

Recuperation and Preparation
Captured Africans were allowed to recuperate at Donkor Nsuo after their long and arduous journey. During this time, they were well-fed and rested for several days or weeks. The merchants understood that by ensuring the captives appeared healthy and strong, they could secure higher prices at the markets.
