Should move up the bucket list - A great experience that we all should take part in no matter the race. Some people shed tears but were taken aback by the stories from the Elmina Castle tour guide.

Very professional and honest - Me and my sister visited Ghana in 2020 and had a day tour to cape coast, Elimina castle and kakum national park via Tichamatours. This was without a doubt one of the best experiences of my life. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by Hassan, our tour guide. We felt extremely welcomed and with such a friendly atmosphere we had a fantastic start to end. Hassan provided everything we needed for the trip and ensured our safety.
Hassan had such a warm personality and was highly motivated, organised and knowledgeable especially when it came to the country’s rich history and beautiful sceneries. The sceneries were so beautiful so much so that it felt like home.
Many thanks again and I recommend Tichamatours to every single person!!

Unforgettable experience - Thanks for giving me and my friends an experience of a lifetime. My friends were intrigue by the following spots Nima Market, Cape Coast Castle, Kakum National Park, Mole National Park and the hidden beaches we got to experience. I look forward in doing this again with different group of my friends. 🙏🏾

Important, fantastic trip, albeit expensive! - Such a good learning experience, massively important for us diasporans effected by these very actions to learn the history of them. Ben was a fantastic guide and shared some great information with us on the drive also. The canopy walk was also brilliant, challenging but worth it for the views once you’re up there. The drive from Accra to cape coast is somewhere between 3-4 hours each way. Make of that what you will lol.

Cape Coast and Elmina Castes are essential visits. But I'd book a small Group Tour if I came back. - The experience at Cape Coast Castle and Elmina Castle are visceral, meaningful, and leave deep impressions. It is an important for anyone to take steps in these places and learn their history. The guides at Cape Coast and Elmina varied in quality. The guide at Cape Coast was particularly knowledgeable and forthcoming. Cape Coast was also much less crowded. I recommend visiting both. The trip to Kakum was also enjoyable (if a little short - there are 7 short bridges that you traverse) but the views are plentiful. My complaint is that my expectations for the private tour/private driver differed from what we experienced. I thought we'd have someone that provided history and knowledge of the area as we drove to each location -- I wanted to learn more about Ghana and the sites we took in as we traveled through townships. What you get is a competent driver who will get you to each of the 3 sites but in our case spent time either quiet in the car on the drive or on his phone when we were at each location. He was friendly but not forthcoming with information or additional context.
