Lovely small town adventure - AJ was our driver and tour director for the day. He is very knowledgeable of the area north of Portland to Boothbay Harbor. One pleasant surprise was Maine Botanical Garden. Not only is it landscaped with a large variety of trees and plants but it also has a unique set of eco-friendly sculptures. Our favorite stop was the sea-side town of Boothbay Harbor. Picturesque and historic, all that reminds you of Maine.

Not the old standard tour - Had a great experience. Tour operator went out of his way to insure that he incorporated the things we wanted to see and not just a standard one tourist stop to the next.

This was an intimate look at many small villages and towns in the coastal Maine area. - We really enjoyed this trip we started off going to the Portland head lighthouse and also saw the Fort Williams. We then headed up to Freeport and spent some nice time at the L.L. Bean company store there and we also got some information from our dad about the impact available being in the area. We also went to the Andros Scoggins bridge, which was built in 1892 and it was tied directly to the local textile industry. We went to the town of Bath to see the Tori gate, which was symbolic of a sister city relationship with a small town in Japan. We also drove by the sprawling Bath Iron Works plant that builds ships for the US government. In Boothbay, we had a wonderful lunch at the tugboat Inn then we we went on a walk around Boothbay tourist area to go in some of the shops and buy a few souvenirs and cards quaint beautiful little town. from there, we went to the botanical gardens and we spent over an hour walking around there. We saw two of the large wooden troll structures, which were so cute and unique. We did not find all of them as the whole complex covers 300 acres, but we did spend a couple of hours there, our last stop was fort Edgecombe, which was built in 1809. It is the oldest octagon structure still standing in the United States. It was a block house fort to protect that area of Maine during the war of 1812. Three adults in our family were in the group. This is a private tour and Dennis our guide was very accommodating, providing water soft drinks and snacks.

Stephanie was amazing! - Stephanie was amazing! She picked us up from the hotel, had snacks available (which she made sure were within dietary restrictions), drove us to a lot of really cool places and made sure to take pictures for us and tell the significance of each location, let us pick the restaurant to accommodate my dietary restriction, and dropped us back off at the hotel.

Amazing tour of Central Maine - Had an amazing day on this tour with Stephanie. She was super accommodating. She called the night before to double check everything including times, itinerary, what to wear, ect. She made us feel like old friends rather than a stranger taking us on a tour. Would highly recommend this tour if you are wanting to get out and see some lighthouses and other cool Maine sights.

Interesting and fun - This tour was one of the best I have ever been on. Our guide was very informative and took us to places that weren’t even on our tour. He went out of his way to make sure we had the best tour. He took pictures of us and things he thought we find interesting and sent them to us. Besides providing drinks and snacks, he knew we didn’t have time for lunch so when we got back to the van, he bought lunch for us and had it waiting for us. I recommend them highly if you want an interesting and a fun tour. AJ was the best tour guide who made it a tour we will never forget

No Solo Travelers Accepted - I was very disappointed that this tour was not available to a solo traveler. I even reached out to ask to be added as a third or fifth to the tour but was rejected. I am here Labor Day week and it seems slow enough that I would have been a welcome addition.
