Worth it! - That was definitely worth waking up at 3am. We got to see wild kangaroos. They were very friendly & would come really close, so got some amazing pictures & videos.
Then we got a little hike in the rainforest.
That was a lovely morning!

Incredibly great tour with Cherene and the Kangaroos - Cherene is an enchanting woman who led the tour full of enthusiasm, knowledge and dedication. It was the best tour ever. From picking up and driving with a neck squirrel and blanket, photo shoot with the kangaroos and walllabies, loving breakfast and lots of knowledge about nature, fauna, flora and wildlife on the bushwalk and the return trip and not to forget their incredibly cool humor. Perfect! An absolute must do! Thank you!

Perfect start of the day - Perfect start of the day! Lovely spot to watch the sunrise. And of course with Wallabies an Kangaroos 😊 Cherene is such an enthusiastisch guide, it's so much fun!

Amazing trip 100% recommend! - I went on the sunrise trip with Cherene and it was wonderful. We spent time with the wallabies on the beach and did a nice bushwalk to a viewpoint. Cherene js a great guide; upbeat, passionate about nature and super friendly. 100% recommend to take a tour with her. The tours are all done by herself and are small group tours which really makes for e nice personal experience.

Nice tour! - Nice tourgide, beautiful experience. A very nice beach and nice to see the wallabies. Unfortunately no kangaroo seen but that didn't make the experience any less fun

Stunning!! - Early 3.30am pick up and wow was it worth the early rise!!
Sunrise on the beach with Kangaroos at Cape Hillsborough was just stunning!
Cherene was super friendly and knowledgeable about the wild life & nature around the area, full of fun facts and happy to help with pictures and showing us around with our guided bush walk.
We saw kangaroos, Wallabies, Sea Eagle, Python, Skinks, Bats and Butterflies.
The bus ride there was comfy, supplied with blankets & pillows for napping if needed, breakfast at the beach was yummy, and she even specially catered for me as gluten free.
Every little detail has been carefully thought of and taken care of with this trip.
All you need to do is turn up with a smile, your camera and a sense of adventure!
Enjoy, you won’t regret it!

Amazing tour - Amazing tour with excellent guide also on phototaking skills 😊
Pick up early at Airlie beach, nice small group. You will get a travel pillow and blanket so you could sleep on the way to Cape Hillsborough! Stunning sunrise, a lot of informations and an easy walk to a lookout (with spectacular view over the area). After that you can enjoy the included breakfast.

Amazing tour with wonderful guide! - This trip was amazing! Sherene was incredible , she picked is up right on time , It was early and cold and she had blankets and neck pillows ready for us in the car , so sweet! So I was able to sleep wonderfully for another hour , once we arrived it was raining a little bit and she even had umbrellas for all of us. We were perfectly in time for the sunrise and there were kangaroos and walibis , after this we did a beautiful hike and she told us all about nature and animals , she knew a lot about it! After the hike she even had breakfast for us with coffee , tea , chai , milo , cookies , fruit , yogurt. In short ; this was a great tour and I would definitely book it

Perfect Start to the Day - If you're an early riser (even if you're not), this is the perfect start to your day. The tour lady (I'm so sorry, I forget her name!) is extremely knowledgeable, chipper, and punctual! She pulled up to my hotel right to the minute she was supposed to be there. Had a great, positive attitude and educated us on little things throughout the whole morning. She reminded me a bit of a female Steve Irwin with her excitement. The roos and wallabies were definitely out!! So sweet to see and lots of great photo opportunities. Keep in mind, you are not alone with the roos. There are other tour groups around and you are also kept at some distance to the roos as they eat (understandably). But some do cross over the threshold and come right up to you. We had some great pictures that day. You also make it back to your hotel at an early time ready for another full day! I am not a breakfast eater so cannot comment, but the essentials were there for a sit down meal that needed to be packed. I give 4 stars only which may be as a result of my own beliefs, i truly thought we would be alone on the beach with the roos but lots of other groups. Nothing too huge, but, not as intimate as imagined.
