Five Star Sunset Bird Watching Cruise!! - This was my second trip on the Osprey and my husband's first. Although we enjoy birdwatching, we're not avid birders. We literally went along for the sunset boat ride =) That being said, the captain and naturalist were WONDERFUL!! Both were very friendly, attentive to their passengers, and constantly on the look out for all kinds of shore birds as well as birds of prey. When an unusual bird was spotted they slowed the boat down, giving everyone time to find it, and often shared interesting information about that species. Our favorites were the common loon, red throated loon, peregrine falcon, and bald eagle. As an added plus, well-behaved dogs are welcome to join the cruise and, while our golden retriever may not have appreciated the birding opportunities, she certainly appreciated the petting opportunities by anyone who took a break from their binoculars =) I highly recommend the daytime AND evening cruises. Both are well worth the time and money. We will definitely cruise again with the Osprey's crew the next time we visit Cape May!

Fantastic sunset boat cruise - Best boat ride with knowledgeable staff! They made sure everyone saw the birds, (eagle, night heron, egrets, oyster catchers and more), learned about Cape may waterways, the bird habitat and migration. We also had an amazing sunset. We plan on trying it again the next time we are back.

Wonderful Sunset Birding Tour - What a great sunset and birding tour on the Osprey. The captain and naturalist (Pam) were knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. They spotted birds, gave us interesting facts about the wildlife and area, and answered any questions with a smile. It was an interesting and different way to see and enjoy a Cape May sunset. Bring a jacket!

A great experience as always! - We’ve taken the Osprey Birding by Boat trips many times, and they are always delightful. I’m a birder, but my wife is not. But she loves the trips and we often bring friends and visitors. Both the Captain and the naturalist are wonderful, and work hard to make certain that everyone sees everything.

Lovely Evening Bird Cruise. - Late afternoon/evening was a perfect time for the trip. Our captain timed it perfectly to see many birds coming in to roost for the night. Both he and the naturalist were great at spotting secretive birds. It was neat to see them still genuinely excited to spot birds. One might think it would be a ho hum experience after making 2 or 3 trips per day all summer. Very knowledgeable about birds, flora, fauna and the Jersey shore in general.
