Cruising the Bay - The most amazing part of this trip was I was able to go. I’m handicapped and walk with a walker and lots of help. I was afraid I would not be able to get on the boat. Thanks to Travis and his crew, getting on went very smoothly and I was able to enjoy the cruise. And what a crew it was! Travis took the boat wherever there was anything to see, and Kathy (I think it was her name; so sorry if I’m wrong) was so knowledgeable about all the birds we saw. Together Travis and crew were able to answer all questions and give us a great tour. Thanks!

Informative trip with welcoming captain and crew - Nice trip on the marsh. Saw quite a few birds including a tri color heron I had never seen before. The touch and feel of sea creatures was pretty cool too. Overall a nice morning.

Knowledgeable and Friendly Crew - A wonderful informative time. Captain Bill was funny and knowledgeable about the biology and birds in the marshes during the safari. Harrison also very helpful on identifying the species of birds we were seeing along the way. Great experience. Loved it!

Best Crew Ever! - Excellent boat trip to view salt marsh wildlife. Crew was beyond charming. We were off-season so the boat was not crowded. We were able to move around as much as we liked. They provided binoculars, which was unexpected and much appreciated (although they make you more seasick to view through them!) We saw a great variety of birds including but not limited to: osprey, oystercatchers, ibis, egrets, terns, plovers, falcon, scot duck, kingfisher, pelicans, cormorants… The crew also showed us some captured wildlife including a horseshoe crab to touch and hold (too wriggly for me), a living conch shell, a sea star and a sea urchin. Someone on the tour said they saw dolphins in the distance, too. It was fantastic.

Great Fall March Trip - Great fall trip in the wetlands. We saw a bald eagle chase an osprey for a fish and many migrating birds. The crew was knowledgeable and friendly.

A must see and do when you’re near Cape May, NJ - Our third trip on the Skimmer was as delightful as the first. There is always something new to see in the salt marsh! Bird, birds, and more birds, as well as crustaceans and fish. This is a world renowned area for birding and this trip did not disappoint. Skipper and guide were first rate and very knowledgeable. All passengers were polite and interested. Children were well behaved and the sea critters they were able to see and touch were a bit hit. We have made a tour on the Skimmer an annual event and are looking forward to our next excursion!

An interesting experience - Nice team, comfortable enough tour. I expected it would be in remote swampy areas. A half of the tour was to look at seagulls at a jetty. A loud speaker would be very useful. The organizers do not respond to messages, only to a phone call and with 2 day delay
