Great spot - We took a double kayak for a two hour rental through the wetlands and enjoyed the sights. Plenty of tall grasses, wildlife, and marshes to enjoy. A nice break from the beach.

Bring plenty of water - Two hour double kayak rental was really enjoyable. Good value and lots of help from the staff. However, middle of the day is hot so bring plenty of water!

Kayaking in Cape May...Miss Chris Marina a Good Choice - I had purchase some kayak rental discount certificates earlier in the summer, and they were to expire today! It was a beautiful day, and we were long overdue for a trip to Cape May, so off we went. The Miss Chris Marina is located right off of the main road you take to get into Cape May (Rt. 109?)...it is one of a couple marinas on the right side, and I didn't see any signage until we turned onto Wilson Ave (found by out GPS), so just look for the first marinas you see once going over the bridge. We opted for 2 single kayaks, rather than a double kayak....they were set up for us, wiped out, and - once we were sitting in the kayaks -- we were slid off of the dock into the water. It was all very easy. We were given a map of the waterway and some tips for where we could go, which was appreciated. It happened to be a very windy day...we had 2 hrs to go explore but came back after an hour and 15 mins----kayaking against the wind is hard work!! But, we really enjoyed being out in the sun, the salt water air, and on the water. When we got back to the launch dock, I gave a little shout out and someone came down to pull our kayaks back up onto the dock. After collecting our keys from the desk inside (where we'd left them) we got dry clothing from our car and used the on-site rest rooms to change. I would recommend Miss Chris Marina as a great place to rent kayak equipment and to launch a kayak trip from!
