Epic small group experience - Just returned from this experience. It was my first group tour, so I was pretty nervous about travelling on a tour... and with strangers. But it was an absolutely epic experience. The group size of 10 was perfect, the length of the tour was great, the itinerary was just right. Got to see plenty of diversity in scenery along the south coast, decent places to stay, and really great food all along the way. Garath, our guide, was awesome, plenty of laughs, and all-in-all a really spectacular holiday. I'd highly recommend Earthstomper. Booking process was easy and very responsive. Adding on two days at a camp in Amakhala Game Reserve was the perfect add-on to further experience a safari.

Fun, Interesting and absolutely recommended. - Highly recommended trip. We had two guides Gareth and Terri, both were excellent. Terri very intuitive about guests needs, Gareth was fun and very inclusive of all guests. I thought I wouldn't do the canoeing but with Gareth's help I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Accommodation was above what I was expecting and all the activities were fun and interesting.

Action-Packed Tour! - Really enjoyed this very active and diverse tour and our helpful and fun guide! Interesting and varied visits and activities along the way. Meals were good, often traditional home-style, Lodging on the first night was basic for the backpacker package, but the rest was nicer.

Epic Garden Route Adventure - I couldn't think of a better way to experience the Garden Route. South Africa is an incredible country and this tour was a great way to experience such a beautiful part of it. The tour itself was very well orchestrated and contained so many highlights. I'd definitely recommend the whale watching if you're in season, we were so lucky seeing Southern right whales, Dolphins and Seals up close. The food was fantastic throughout and the accommodation was spot on. I went for the backpacker option and was really happy I did. The travellers I met on the tour were a big part of its success. We had a great group and shared a lot of good memories! I'm sure everyone would agree that our incredibly knowledgeable guide Christine really made the trip special. She really went the extra mile and was invested in us all getting as much out of the trip as possible!

Amazing experiences - This tour was a fantastic way to experience the beauty of the Garden Route! The itinerary offered a perfect balance of activities with just the right pace to enjoy everything without feeling rushed. If you're concerned about staying in backpacker accommodation, don't be – it's completely fine! Christine, our guide, was exceptional, combining her deep knowledge with a friendly, warm personality that made the whole trip even more enjoyable. The traditional, home-cooked dinners in the evenings were a lovely touch and we always felt well looked after. Thank you for the incredible impressions and experiences. Of course, the fellow travelers contributed so much to it as well – such wonderful people and adventurers!

Highly recommend! - Well organised. Stuck to the advertised itinerary, so nothing missed out, but Mark and Terri the guides, manged to squeeze in a couple of extra things we guests wanted to see which was great. Nice mix of activities, animals, active, wine tasting, scenery. Lovely quirky accommodation. I stayed in hostels, in single rooms. Felt very safe.

Unforgettable holiday - At the end of July we did the Garden Route tour from Cape Staft to Port Elizabeth with our guide Gareth and 5 other guests. We had an incredibly nice time and experienced and saw an incredible amount. The type of holiday was perfect for us- The choice of destinations, the mix of Things to do and culture and of course the imposing beautiful scenery and wildlife made the holiday unforgettable for us! The accommodations (we stayed in guesthouses) were very upscale, which we did not expect (next time we might choose the backpacker accommodation, they were also perfectly fine ). We also enjoyed the dinners together, which were always very authentic and very good, very much in our group. There was always a relaxed , nice atmosphere and good mood. Gareth was very keen that we all had a good time. THANKS to the Earthstompers and especially Gareth, our superguide!

Great trip definitely recommend. - Very enjoyable experience. Terri and Gareth our guides were both superb. Terri very intuitive about guests needs, Gareth very experienced and inclusive of everyone and willing to assist those who perhaps would struggle without extra help. Terri also very helpful giving me the confidence to enjoy the canoeing and accessing the waterfall. The accommodation over-all exceeded my expectations. Great to have the group photos and WhatsApp group.
