We also have vegan and vegetarian options. These are the best selling dishes at Pahari African Restaurant, loved by many.\n\nEach person will have an opportunity to contribute. We will then go on to enjoying the meal together, communally, as it is typically done in an African home.\nThe experience will conclude with an African hot beverage (tea or coffee).

Fun afternoon cooking - Florence is such a warm, kind woman. She and Rose made me feel comfortable right away. She gave a brief history of the cuisine and then had prepared delicious dishes that we dined on after. I would recommend visiting her!

Give it a try, you won’t regret it! - Wonderful genuine people, fun, educational, food turned out very delicious!
My boys 11,14 loved this experience, enjoyed eating challenging foods, and eating with their hands.

Out of the box experience!! - This was such a great immersive experience and the end product was delicious. Our hosts were very welcoming and hospitable and we learned a lot about African traditional life and ate some unusual foods!! It was delivered with knowledge and good humour and we had great fun. Would highly recommend it!

A food tour with a flavor of culture and history - Florence and Celeb are passionate about the food and culture. Celeb explains the history and culture associated with the food as an introduction to the appetizers. The cooking begins after savoring the appetizers. the group cooks around 5 dishes that are pre-prepped to some extent. The whole group eats together, chatting over the meal, and you wind up with some coffee and cookies. They do add a few other touches that are quite nice! It’s a nice satisfying tour!

Stories and Flavours - This was a truly enriching experience. I learned so much about the migration of food culture across Africa, which added depth and context to the dishes we prepared. Caleb showed us how peanut butter is traditionally made and Florence taught me how to cook the most delicious beans. Florence and Caleb’s enthusiasm and passion made the lesson even more enjoyable. They brought the recipes to life with their energy and storytelling. A wonderful blend of culture, history, and delicious food!
