Great culinary and educational experience! - Wonderful experience. Learned a lot about African cuisine, with hands-on cooking. We had a group of both experienced cooks and people who don’t cook at all, and everyone could participate. The staff was all great. Highly recommended!!

Best way to start your trip - This was an awesome experience and introduction to Southern Africa cuisine. Our host were welcoming, kind, knowledgeable, and considerate. They provided us with the history and meaning behind each dish. Definitely should make this apart of your itinerary!

This authentic African restaurant truly transported me to the heart of the continent through its vibrant flavors and warm hospitality. From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted with a friendly smile and a cozy ambiance that instantly made us feel at home. The décor, adorned with traditional African artifacts and motifs, added to the immersive experience. Now, let’s talk about the food – it was absolutely divine! Each dish we tried was a masterpiece, bursting with authentic African spices and fresh ingredients. Every bite was a delight, and it was clear that each dish was crafted with care and expertise. The staff is genuinely passionate about sharing their culture through food, which added an extra layer of authenticity to the dining experience. Family/Friend Cooking class - Florence, her Husband, Rose and the team, was very hospitable. It didn’t feel like a restaurant, it felt like we were in there home, having a family dinner. The cooking class we did was exceptional, the history lesson was great. I definitely recommend anyone in Cape Town who’s visiting to stop by, taste the food, book a class. This was a very memorable experience, and I appreciate the entire team for their hospitality.

A Wonderful Evening/Learning Experience - What a wonderful time with Florence and Claude (Clyde). Kind, wonderful and warm people who have created a fantastic experience. You cannot truly understand a people until you understand their food, and this was a wonderful introduction to African food. The food is, for the most part, very approachable, but also different from most experiences from Europe or North American when even African food is highy sanitized. But the cultural insights, stories, and just the warmth of the people made the visit special.

The greatest experience - This was an experience of a lifetime, the authentic food was delicious and the host made us feel very welcome.
