- Cape RADD (Research And Diver Development) - Join the Marine Biologists at Cape RADD for one of the best Simon’s Town Seal Snorkelling experiences from Cape Town. We will join a boat ride for approximately 25-minutes along the Cape Peninsula to Seal Rock, which is a small hideout for resting seals. Here you will dive in and snorkel with the seals alongside expert field guides for an interactive experience in the ocean. We will remain close to the rock where the majority of the seals frolic in the water investigating and playing with the guests. The water is very shallow and the bottom is usually visible. This is a delightful opportunity to learn about the seals’ behaviour and their role in the ecosystem. The entire excursion duration is approximately 2.5 to 3-hours.
- Boulders Beach Penguin Colony - After this adventurous activity, we proceed to Boulders Penguins Colony where we will take a walk on the boardwalk to view the African Penguins in their natural habitat. Here there are approximately 2500 African Penguins.
- Cape of Good Hope - Our tour proceeds with a drive into the Cape of Good Hope nature reserve. Here we will explore the two historical beacons known as the Dias cross and the Da Gama cross. Your guide will share the history of this area with you and give you an opportunity to take your iconic photo behind the Cape of Good Hope name board.
- Cape Point - We proceed to Cape Point where you can either take the Flying Dutchman Funicular to the Cape Point lighthouse or you can opt for an easy 15 minutes walk. This is the official meeting point of the Two Ocean currents: The Warm Agulhas current and the Cold Benguela current.
- Chapman’s Peak Drive - Our return route is via Chapman’s Peak Drive (if it is operational) which is known as one of the most scenic drives in the world. We will stop at the viewpoint to take some breathtaking photos.
- Camps Bay - Our tour culminates with a stop at Maiden’s Cove for our final photo opportunity. This is our Instagram moment for beautiful photos with Camp’s Bay beachfront and the Twelve Apostles as our backdrop.
