Arrive at the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve before midday. Explore the rich vegetation of the Cape, the history of European explorers, maritime history, and, if fortunate, experience a mini safari.

Reach the southwesternmost point of the African continent, the Cape of Good Hope, and capture a photo with the iconic signboard. Continue to Cape Point and take a brief 15-minute walk to a historic lighthouse, or opt for a funicular ride at your own expense if you prefer not to walk.

Pause for lunch and stroll to see the old colonial-protected British buildings in Simon’s Town before heading to meet the endangered African penguins at Boulders Beach. Spend about 45-60 minutes at the penguin colony before returning to Cape Town along the coastline.
