Bantry Bay - Nestled at the foothills of the Lion’s head mountain is an affluent suburb called Bantry Bay. Very well known for its wind free status, Bantry bay has over 250 days of no wind a year which is a great deal in Cape Town considering the Mother City’s windy climate.

Duiker Island - Our journey will have an hour lay over at Hout bay harbor whereby you may hop on a boat and embark on a 40 minute scenic journey to an Island inhabited by more than 5 thousand cape fur seals. You will see the seals from the boat and if you may not be keen to take the boat trip you may spend some time exploring the craft market or even take a 10 minute walk to Hout bay Beach. Please note that this optional extra may add another hour onto the tour.

Chapman’s Peak Drive - As we leave Hout bay, we will drive onto the world famous Chapman’s peak drive. A mountain side road locally known as Chapies. An engineering masterpiece! The Chapman’s peak drive meanders for 9km along the giant Chapman’s peak mountains that seems to drop into the ocean like an avalanche. You will also have an opportunity to stop for photos and enjoy the views of the Atlantic ocean, the cliffs and the white sandy beaches.

Hout Bay - 15 minutes from Camps bay is Hout bay. A town that is surrounded by the mountains and the cold Atlantic. All the roads that leads traffic here goes over mountain passes. Do not be regretting leaving your passports behind when a “Welcome to The republic of Hout bay” sign appears!

Cape Point Ostrich Farm - A mere 200m before the Cape Point nature reserve is an Ostrich farm where guest will have an opportunity to stop by along the road and take pictures of Africa’s largest bird.

Cape Point Nature Reserve - Cape Point Nature Reserve is home to the most South Western corner of Africa (Cape of Good Hope). Rich fauna and flora makes this place a biodiversity hotspot. You will be able to enjoy the views while in the comfort of the vehicle or even by foot.

Old Cape Point Lighthouse - Walk or take a funicular (at own cost) up to South Africa’s 3rd oldest lighthouse for a 360 degree view of the national park. The old lighthouse was launched in 1860 only to be decommssioned 40 years and dozens of shipwrecks too late after studies proved that its high altitude posed a great danger to sailors around the cape as they couldn’t be able to see it in cloudy weather conditions. A new lighthouse was since built at a much lower altitude.

Noordhoek Farm Village - At the Southern end of the Chapman’s peak drive is a Noordhoek farm village. The whitewashed and the thatch buildings operate as shops trading as raw juice shops, coffee shops, bakery, restaurants hand made crafts shop and clothing stores. A short stop to indulge in some of these will be offered to you.

Boulders Beach Penguin Colony - Another quiet and wealthy town on the false bay coastline. The victorian built Simon’s town is home to some of the freshest seafood restaurants and where you might stop for an hour and grab some lunch (guide may choose to have lunch at Cape Point depending on how the tour goes)
Boulders Beach Penguin Colony is home to thousands of the endangered tuxedo swimmers, the African penguin! Here you will walk on the beach and take close up photos of one of our flightless birds. Your guide will also provide you with information about the penguin’s current affairs.

Muizenberg Beach - Muizenberg beach is also known as “The surfers corner”. Brightly colored changing huts on the beach makes for a great photoshoot. Provided that we have time and the traffic flow is reasonable, you will be able to have your last stop before the engines steers north for Cape Town to finish off a great sightseeing day.

Cape of Good Hope - Famed the corner of Africa. Where the Cold Atlantic and the Indian oceans shares common grounds. The Cape of Good Hope is however only the most south westerly point of Africa. Hiking trails to the summit of the Cape makes for great activity and sightseeing. The Cape of Good Hope sign is also another big attraction. Possible different hiking trails will be offered to you from here by your guide.
