Nonetheless, our proposed itinerary is: Our excursion to Cape of Good Hope & Cape Point offers a scenic drive down the Cape Peninsula, leading to the Cape Point Nature reserve, Cape Point, and Cape of Good Hope. This journey is one of Cape Town’s most popular tourist destinations and it competes with the most picturesque drives globally. The round trip from Cape Town to Cape Point nature reserve is 180 kilometers. The journey includes traveling along the Atlantic coastline, the Twelve Apostles mountain range up to Hout Bay, and through the world-renowned scenic Chapman’s Peak drive. By mid-morning, we’ll arrive at the Cape Point nature reserve’s entrance and continue to Cape Point and Cape of Good Hope. You will have ample time to visit the old lighthouse. On our way back to Cape Town, we’ll follow the False Bay coast, including a stop to see the African penguin colony at Boulders Beach.
