Very fun and interesting bike tour - Very fun and interesting bike tour where you learn a lot about Cape Town's history and visit many important places. Tour takes place in relaxed atmosphere. Our guide (Rodriguez) gave plenty of room for questions and also gave pride for museums. The tasty snack in Bo-kaap was a nice bonus (provided by Awol)

Best way to see the city - Joel our guide was fantatsic - we did the private guide option and there were three of us so had plenty of detailed input via Joel who not only explained the history in all its different parts to how Cape Town is where it now is, which is vital given the misperception of everything just being about apartheid, but explains the different cultures, sections of society, the politics and the whole reality of living here today. Went to see the key places, great snack stop in Beau Kaap and the chance to saunter into local artists at their work. And get plenty of good cycle options to try out down the coast to Canps Bay and Haut Bay. Definately the best way to see the city and see local good spots. Highly recommend !!

Great way to experience the city - The weather had been cold and rainy the day before the tour. But South African weather can change in a few minutes. We weren't sure if the tour would run but it was still on despite the rainy conditions. Thus, it was a bit cold and wet while cycling around Cape Town but there were moments of partly sunny conditions but it was otherwise mostly wet. We saw a lot of sites around the city and learned about the history of Cape Town. We even stopped a small cafe for some South African snacks which were super delicious. There is one big hill on the tour which we got off our bikes and walked the last bit (for my husband) but the route itself is otherwise pretty flat. But if you want to keep it easy, then go for the e-bike option but personally, I don't think it's needed. My husband would say otherwise. The tour was otherwise, very informative, fun, and safe for the half day tour.

See Cape Town and learn some history. - Today we had a great tour of Cape Town with Michel. He was informative, engaging and very relatable. We were the only ones on the morning trip and he gave us the full run down in a friendly and patient manner. The amount of stops was excellent with just the right amount of information for us to remember things and not be overwhlemed. Plus we could ask lots of questions and all of them were answered. The riding was good too. A bit of a hill to get up to Bo-Kaap but well worth it! This is a fantastic way to orientate yourself around the city and learn about important historical events at the same time. Thanks for everything Michel!

Lots of fun - Did the city-tour with the enthusiastic guide Joel. He jumped on his bike, on the street, on the sidewalk, on the street again...and so on. We've kindly followed him😄. Joel learned us a lot about the history of Capetown, the apartheid, places to be and not to be. Short break in Bo-Kaap with some excellent local snacks. We've enjoyed the tour and would recommend to do it to learn more about the city.
