Amazing Capetown - The views and the audio information were amazing. I would like to mention one staff member Riyaad at the v&A office, he was so helpful, mapped out our two day itinerary but of course asking us what we would like to see and do in Capetown and in the evening he would check on us how our day went. Special thanks to him we were able to enjoy Capetown at ease.

Hop on hop off … perfect ! 😀 - Having never been to Cape Town before we decided to go for a two day premium ticket which turned out to be excellent value for money. We met the bus at table mountain and followed the red route for the day hopping off whenever we wanted to . The recorded commentary was excellent in lots of different languages. The following day we boarded the blue route , which covered the rest of the city, hopping off on to the purple route for a quick wine taste , then back onto the blue route. We also fitted in a harbour cruise for good measure. Staff were very helpful both at the office and the drivers. All in all great value for money

Easiest way to get to Table Mountain - Was a great way to see the city. We used the bus to get to Table Mountain. No need to waste time finding parking. Driver was friendly and drove really well. Also got off at Camps Bay for a walk on the beach.

Solo traveler - Safe and convenient for solo travelers. Wish the bus routes would stay open a little longer. Wanted to have dinner at the V&A waterfront and be able to use the bus to return back to my hotel.

Great way to get a sense of the city and surroundings - We use the Hop on Hop off Bus in most of the cities we visit, and they do not disappoint. Cape Town’s did not disappoint, but it wasn’t the best either. We had some issues purchasing online, so tried going to the main office at V&A Waterfront, and they wouldn’t let us purchase for a particular date, as you are able to online. And we wanted a 2-day ticket, but they had to be successive days. This is not the case in some other cities. So highly recommend buying your tickets online! And an option of a 3-day ticket would be very helpful. It was a very busy weekend (Freedom Day weekend) and it took an entire day to just make it around the two routes, without even hopping off. The next day we went up Table Mountain with the bus, and that was it for the day as well. Recommend not going to Cape Town on a holiday in the fall, spring, or summer. Interesting and informative commentary on the bus, and the wifi was surprisingly very good. Drivers are very helpful.
