This journey begins in Cape Town and leads you up the West Coast for a 3-hour guided wildlife safari where you might spot rhinos, lions, giraffes and more, but please be aware that there are no elephants. From the peaceful surroundings of Buffelsfontein, you’ll then make your way to a farm well-known for its olive cultivation and wine production and savor their offerings. Next, you’ll stop by a charming small town named Darling where you’ll visit Darling Brew for a broad craft beer tasting session and lunch. Dessert is served at the local toffee factory. After a day filled with relaxation and enjoyment, you’ll return to Cape Town via Blouberstrand. From this location, you’ll be endowed with a stunning panorama of Table Bay, looking out towards Table Mountain.

Cape Town Adventures - Ian was awesome and our tour was fabulous from start to finish! We wish we would’ve found him earlier in our trip as he has adventures all over South Africa! Highly recommend!

Well done Ian - Everything on this trip went like clockwork with pick up to finish.Driver come owner Ian was a great host and a guy you would go to the pub with.Safari was in a game reserve where the animals were taken care of and great to see them running free.Giraffes,wildebeest.antelope,zebra,ostrich Rhino and many others could be seen up close.The 2 Rhino were absolute stunning and we watched them mowing the grass from about 3 metres away.The olive presentation was very unusual in the way that opened our eyes to jams,marmalades and oils that you didn’t realise existed.Brewery was in a nice spot where we sampled the breweries own beers and luckily the weather was nice to sit out and enjoy.All in all a great trip and probably the best one we will do in Cape Town and wish Ian all the best with this venture.

Excellent tour!!! - Your tour guide Ian is the most friendly and professional tour guide you will ever have. The tour was great and definitely well thought. I highly recommend it and if you are anxious about price or how it’s going to be just forget about it because it will be a highlight of your trip.

A great day! - Had a great time with Ian of African Mood Adventures. He picked us up at our airbnb and dropped us off at the end of the day. We had already been on several safari's, but thought this would be fun for the wine, olive, beer tasting and besides, can you ever see enough animals?

Ian was absolutely... - Ian was absolutely amazing! He picked us up promptly from our hotel. Giving us historical info along the route to the nature preserve. He stopped along the way for some amazing photo ops! He got us there early so we could grab food and coffee before the tour started. Then the tour itself was beautiful and picturesque. The guide even referred to Ian for a few facts about the animals, because he’s just that knowledgeable! I can’t wait to do more tours with him in the future! Absolutely great trip! My sister said it was her favorite day of our vacation!

California Girls in the Cape - My friend and I had an amazing day with Ian! Started off at Buffelfonstein and learned about the reserve and South African wildlife. We proceeded to olive tasting which was very informative then lunch at the local brewery. Great way to start our week in Cape Town and would certainly do it again! You won't be disappointed- thank you again, Ian!

Great tour with excellent host driver/guide - Great trip . We saw 97pct of the animals during the game drive. Then beautiful stops in Darling for olive,wine and toffee tasting! The host/driver and guide is very gentle and has a beatiful car with wide space for everybody.worth every ran!

Fantastic - Fantastic experience! We just had an amazing day in South Africa with our tour guide Ian, African Moon Adventures. About an hour after being picked up at the waterfront we were on safari hunting the African big five. We spotted so many species including snakes, giraffes, buffalo, lions, jaguar, ostrich, springbok, bison, wild beasts….the list goes on. Then we set off on a locals tour of the area, olives, toffees, wines, beer etc off the beaten track from the usual tourist attractions which I loved! Ian was fantastic at adapting the trip slightly for us, being white wine drinkers, he took us to GROOTE POST vineyard for a larger variety in white wine. Nothing was a rush at all. Ian even stopped along the coastline for photographs for us with table mountain in the background and kite surfers a tad closer. Highly recommend 💞

Fantastic trips! - I can’t tell you how wonderful Ian was as a tour guide! We had a great time as he always made sure we were comfortable and was willing to “go the extra mile” to make our trip fantastic! He truly loves sharing his love for his country!
