We offer various options for this excursion, which primarily takes place in a locality known as District Six, one of Cape Town’s most historic quarters. Each choice involves District Six, because in our belief, one cannot grasp the city’s history without comprehending District Six.

One may wonder, ‘Why District Six?’. This region was once an urban residential zone from where over 60,000 non-white residents were forcefully evicted in the 1970s during the Apartheid ruling. It was intended for white-only redevelopment, but it was left deserted and vacant due to global pushback. Wander past haunting deserted roads overrun with wild vegetation and observe what remnants persist today. The district is gradually being regenerated, with eccentric cafes and street art emerging as a potent voice, narrating tales of the area’s trials and charms.
