Amazing scenery - Christian was our guide for this tour. He was excellent: very professional, polite and had an enormous amount of knowledge about the area, which he shared with enthusiasm and clear enjoyment. We felt that we were not rushed at all, we were allowed to dictate the time spent at each location and lunch in Simonstown was relaxed and in a beautiful spot overlooking the harbour. We also had plenty of time with the penguins and at the Cape of Good Hope. fantastic tour experience.

Day trip around the Cape - A one day trip is a great way for people with limited time to view the key features of the peninsula. Comfortable transport, knowledgable driver and lunch included.

Fantastic day - Superb tour with Basil our guide. He was very professional and keen to ensure we had a great time. Even apologized for the misty start to the day, not his issue! Fantastic visit to the Cape National Park, Cape Point and the Cape of Good Hope. Penguins were a must see stop off. Lunch included in Simon's Town, which was a good basic choice. Chapman's Drive is a must see offering spectacular views of the coastline. We did a private tour for 4 which is not cheap but great value. Highly recommended

A superb tour operator - We booked a cape point tour through the hotel and we were picked up by a driver who was not in a good way .his driving was erratic and the guide was non existent.he also managed to have an accident.
On our return to the hotel we made a complaint to the representative at the hotel who contacted the operator to make them aware of our experience.they said they will carry out an investigation and let us know the outcome in the evening.
The next day the owner came to the hotel and personally apologised for the bad experience and gave us a full refund also as a gratitude gave as a hamper .
This level of service I have never experienced anywhere.we were taken aback by his kindness and genuine respect and courtesy .and he could not apologise enough for his driver’s actions. He even offered a free transfer to the airport.
I am deeply touched by the response by this company and would recommend you use them .they are excellent and our experience does not reflect the other tours that they offer .
AFRICAN EAGLE THANK YOU VERY MUCH .

EXCELLENT AND INTERESTING TOUR GUIDE ROBERT - Our African Eagle tour guide, Robert, was excellent. He was very knowledgeable and interesting to listen to. He just didn’t have bottled water as a company practice.
He also didn’t have a copy of the original itinerary I have discussed with my overall Africa tour operator though no fault of his. But he still tried to bring us to as many places as possible. Unfortunately, the bus to the top of Cape Point was only one bus so the queue was really long. Hence, the boat to the seal island which was part of our itinerary was already closed.
We were able to visit most of the places in the itinerary and we were very happy with the penguins in Boulders Beach, Cape of Good Hope, Cape Point and even made a quick drive through the Ostrich Farm. We were also able to visit the oldest winery in South Africa, Groot Constancia.

Highly recommend - We booked a private day tour through our hotel. Our driver/guide was friendly and informative. We enjoyed the day so much we asked him to take us to Franschhoek/Stellenbosch the next day. Dillon’s suggestions for wine tasting and lunch were perfect (Boschendal and Ernie Els). Thanks Dillon for two great days

The most perfect experience - The best and most memorable trip to Cape Town. Dominique was very professional. He arrived at the hotel early to pick me up and explained the history and culture of South Africa to me. I saw the most beautiful coastline during the trip. He arranged the time reasonably and made the whole trip very smooth.

The Full Day trip to Cape of Good Hope and Cape Point - The whole day tour in our trip was very rushed. We were told to be ready by 8:30 AM but our pick up was delayed by about 20 minutes. We were picked up by a taxi and were driven all around town to meet up with the tour bus. There seemed to be some problems with communications and by the time we met up with the tour bus it was 11:00 AM at Hout Bay. Then there was an optional trip to the seal island. By the time we left Cape Town it was already noon. We reached the Cape of Good Hope and were given 20 minutes there and then we were taken to Cape Point. Again it was rushed, but here we were given about 40 minutes. Later we were taken to a restaurant for lunch at 3:00 pm. We again had to hurry because we had to get to Boulders Beach to see the penguins.
This was a whole day trip, but it felt so rushed and frankly not worth the money. We would have been better off going with a private taxi. Also, this was extremely expensive and we did not get our moneys worth

Poorly organised - The guide cum driver’s audio commentary was very bad with his low voice, poor audio system, and his mumbling of words. Couldn’t understand the anything. Supposed to be 9 hour tour but finished in 8 hours rushing us at each sights particularly at Cape Point lighthouse. With my wife’s knee pain couldn’t reach and come back in 45 minutes. Should have been an hour. He over charged on penguin view point from displayed rate.
