Highlights
- 1 Signal Hill Rd - Once we’ve settled on the starting point for the adventure, we’ll either embark on a delightful 15-20 minute stroll up the picturesque Lions Head trail or provide you with a brief tour of Signal Hill, detailing what to anticipate during your flight. When we’re completely content with the meteorological conditions, we’ll begin preparing you for the thrill!
(Pilot)- “Harness- check, Helmet- check, Carabiners- check, Stunning metropolis- check, GoPro recording- check.. (Your name), are you PUMPED UP!”
(Your name)- “Absolutely, let’s do this!!”

We always meet at the very end of Signal Hill road by the parking area. Once you get there we will make a decision whether we will be Paragliding from Signal Hill or Lions Head, the decision is entirely based on the wind direction on the day of your flight.
Cancellation Policy
For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

5 Star Thrill & Views - If you're coming to Cape Town & you want to get a bird's eye view with a dash of friendliness & professionalism thrown in, choose these guys! I can be cynical about service, but these guys are so sincere, they make you feel comfortable and secure. I'm a little scared of heights, but never feared with the wonderful Francois even when he asked if I wanted to ride the roller coaster, he gave me the option & it was a total thrill! A definite must do when coming to Cape Town. And, btw, I'm an oldie :-)

A must-do experience in Cape Town - The team are all very experienced flyers, in a family business of flyers. They live to fly! My husband and I flew with Francois and Roland. The weather was not great initially so we went off and did other things, they kept in touch with us all day and when there was a window, we flew. They know the winds and the weather so well and as a novice, I trusted Roland totally. The kit is fitted and checked, and checked again. The instructions were clear and concise. We flew for 20 mins from Signal Hill to the beach landing ground, and the views were incredible. It was so exhilarating yet peacefully quiet in the air. It was an amazing experience and the guys really made all the effort to make it safely happen for us and to have the best time. I highly recommend this company.

Amazing and Awesome- brilliant hosts - What an awesome and amazing experience! Francois and Roland flew my wife and I. Right from our initial booking, were looked after incredibly well. Could not recommend this team more highly and thoroughly recommend you try this for an experience you will never forget.

A must do in Cape Town - The best paragliding experience I have done in any country. We got lucky and jumped from Lion’s head (the wind was just right), views were spectacular and we finished with some pro manoeuvres. A must do if staying in Cape Town!

Best Experience Ever! - Being afraid of heights, I was initially nervous and hesitant. But Francois was incredible and made me feel safe and relaxed during the whole flight, ensuring that I had the most amazing and unforgettable experience! Will definitely recommend Cape Hope Paragliding to anyone wanting to try this activity.

Exciting new experience! - What a fabulous experience!! Dragged there by a friend and was so nervous. But Francois is so professional that in the end I ran the couple of steps and was then up in the air! The views from Lions Head were incredible. It is an amazing experience! Thank you Francois for making me brave!

Definitely a bucketlist adventure 😉 - It was such an awesome experience! They make you feel comfortable throughout the whole flight. I will highly recommend using this company! It definitely is an adrenaline rush 😉🙂 and a fun way to see Cape Town from the sky!
