Highlights
- Robben Island Museum - Pickup from your hotel in Cape Town City Centre/ Sea Point/ Camps Bay hotels with a guide
Guide drop guests off at Silo hotel walk up the steps see the red clocktower with Mandela Gateway on the right side of the Clocktower
Security will do a bag check
Proceed to follow the queue
Show your ticket and ID to staff
Board the boat for 30 minute ride to island
At the island disembark and walk to the bus with a guide for a bus ride around the Island
Then at the prison there is a Guided Walk around the prison by ex-prisoner
Boat trip back to Mainland
Enjoy the many shops and restaurants in the V&A Waterfront or return back to hotel.

Additional Information
Complimentary transportation from hotels located in Cape Town City Centre, Sea Point & Camps Bay.
Each individual will receive a Robben Island ticket.
- Our driver will take you to the Nelson Mandela Gateway. Do note the significant waiting time to board the vessel.
- Upon arriving on Robben Island, our appointed guide will guide guests onto the bus to commence the tour around the island.
- The tour includes visits to the cells of notable inmates, including Nelson Mandela’s cell.
- Attendees are granted the opportunity to listen to an ex-inmate share his personal experiences during the apartheid era.
- The boat will then ferry everyone back to the mainland.
- Visitors have the option to dine at the waterfront at their own expense or explore the waterfront district.
- Guests wishing to return to their hotels will be driven back by our driver.
Please be aware: Boat schedules are sometimes disrupted due to operational challenges which we, as a Tour Operator, have no control over.

Book your tour today with Faz!! - Faz was absolutely amazing. Our hotel concierge was unable to get us tickets for this tour. Faz leveraged her connections and got us FIVE tickets within less than 24 hours. Not only does she have the connections to make your experience top notch, but she is so friendly, warm and welcoming. She far exceeded our expectations.
We learned a lot on the tour. It was very somber and an absolute don't miss. Don't be afraid to ask the tour guide questions.
The surprise at the end was a highlight for us! You'd be wise to opt for that!!

Great experience! - Faz and her son picked me up, told me all the information I needed to know, showed me around the jetty museum, took me to the boat, gave me snacks, then picked me up from the boat, took photos for me and returned me to my accommodation. They were both so lovely and knowledgeable. Thank you!
Robben Island itself was an incredible experience. Having an ex political prisoner as a guide was a very informative and emotional experience, especially being shown his cell.

Life Changing Tour - Our host, Ms. Fazeela was awesome! Very passionate and informative. The weather is very unpredictable, so a ride to the island is a privilege, not a right. We loved the boat ride and the additional information shared on the way back.

unforgettable! - I booked this tour to the Robin Island in the last minute. The booking status was "pending" since the tickets had been sold out for that day. After knowing this was my last day in Cape Town, Faziela (the guide) spent about an hour with the staff at the harbor and managed to get a ticket for me! She is such a nice lady and she understands and cares her customers. I recommend their tours to everyone visiting Cape Town.

First class tour - The talk by the ex political prisoner. It touched my soul. The staff on the ferry, bus and everywhere extremely well trained and knowledgeable. Our organizer Faziela went beyond the call of duty in every way. She is the best tour operator I have ever had
