• Victoria & Alfred Waterfront - The V&A Waterfront in Cape Town is where our tour begins. This popular area offers stunning ocean views and easy access to some of the city’s best beaches. Here, you can take the ferry to Robben Island, which is 11 km from the mainland and takes 40-45 minutes by ferry. This is also where you will pay for your ferry and Robben Island tickets.
• Robben Island Museum - Located in Table Bay, Robben Island is best known as the site of the maximum-security prison where Nelson Mandela and other political prisoners were held during apartheid. Mandela spent 18 of his 27 years in prison on the island, which has become synonymous with the struggle for freedom. Now a World Heritage site and museum, it offers daily tours. You will disembark at Murray’s Bay Harbour on the east coast of the island and take a short walk to buses that will take you to historical sites around the island. Please note that this tour is exclusive, and you will need to pay an entry fee of R 550 per person.
• Table Mountain Aerial Cableway - Table Mountain is a unique symbol of the peninsula, standing 1,067 meters above sea level. The cable car ride, which completes a 360-degree rotation, offers a spectacular way to ascend Cape Town’s famous flat-topped peak. At the top, you’ll find the Table Mountain Café, a self-service restaurant offering a range of food, drinks, snacks, desserts, and wines. Table Mountain is a great spot to soak up the commanding 360-degree views of Cape Town, Table Bay, the surrounding mountains, and the rest of Table Mountain National Park. • Company’s Gardens - The Company’s Garden is the oldest garden in South Africa. Located in central Cape Town, it is a park and heritage site. Originally created in 1650 by the region’s first European settlers, it provided fertile ground to grow fresh produce for ships rounding the Cape.
• Iziko South African Museum and Planetarium - Founded in 1825, the South African Museum moved to its current building in the historic Company’s Garden in 1897. Since then, millions of visitors have explored its halls and exhibitions.
• Castle of Good Hope - Built by the Dutch East India Company between 1666 and 1679, the Castle of Good Hope is the oldest existing colonial building in South Africa. During the Second Boer War (1899–1902), part of the castle was used as a prison, and the former cells remain to this day. The castle served as the local headquarters for the South African Army in the Western Cape and now houses the Castle Military Museum and ceremonial facilities for the traditional Cape Regiments.
• Bo-Kaap - Bo-Kaap is a neighborhood in Cape Town known for its narrow, cobbled streets lined with colorful houses. It became a daytime destination after the end of slavery in the Cape Colony in 1834.
• Iziko Slave Lodge - Marking the end of slavery in the Cape Colony in 1834, this is where our tour ends, and we drop you off back at your hotel or accommodation.
• The Diamond Works - Visit a diamond factory to learn about South Africa’s diamond history and other precious stones like tanzanite, sapphire, gold, and platinum. Enjoy a taste of South African sparkling wine at the entrance. Prices are negotiable, and our guide will assist you with purchases and VAT claims at the airport before your return.
• Lion’s Head - Lion’s Head is the most famous hiking mountain in the country, standing 669 meters above sea level.
