• Robben Island Museum - Guests will be collected from the address provided (within our pickup area). A shared transfer will take them to the Silo District, where they will be greeted and escorted to the Nelson Mandela Gateway. From there, they will board a shared ferry to the Robben Island Museum, where a former political prisoner will welcome them and provide a tour of the island. (Please note that the driver/tour guide will not accompany guests on the Robben Island Museum tour.) The entire excursion, including hotel pickup, lasts approximately 5 hours. Visitors will be transported around the island by bus during the tour, after which they will visit Nelson Mandela’s prison cell and experience the long walk to freedom. Upon returning to the Clock Tower Building, the tour guide/driver will meet them at the Nelson Mandela Gateway entrance.
