We danced we drummed we laughed we cried we hugged and we danced a whole lot more. Thank you thank you thank YOU to the incredible DrumStruck team for an outstanding performance, curation of music and history and giving us an experience we'll be talking about for months to come!!

Not to be missed! - This is an amazing experience. The wine was excellent and well presented by the Owner. It is a small winery with excellent wines. The Drumstruck show was fabulous. Entertaining and educational as they go through all the centuries of drumming and locations around Africa. Good music and humor. Also lots of interaction - playing on drums and other percussion instruments.

Can't praise it highly enough! - I visited Silvermist for the wine-tasting, drumming and BBQ with two friends and can quite honestly say that it was the best day of our holiday. We felt like we had stumbled into a group of friends just having fun! Greg's explanations of his wines and how he started up and produces them was honest and very personal - very different from the other wine tasting tours we did. The drum workshop was so much fun, and we had tasted just enough wine beforehand to allow us to really get into it when it came to our turn to drum and dance! The history of the drums and other instruments was also fascinating, I loved that I learnt so much whilst having so much fun. The drummers were amazing too, such skill, they make it look easy but we discovered it really isn't! We paid the extra to stay on for the BBQ, and again, it was so lovely to feel part of the group... dare I say "family"?! As we ate, the Drumstruck performers played the marimas and sang and we drank more wine and danced again... it was the perfect afternoon/early evening activity.

Unforgettable experience - I have lived in the Cape for over 20 years and have never experienced such a heartfelt, genuine wine tasting experience - with the passionate winemaker himself! What a treat! The drumming session is transcendental and an it was an honour to behold the historical African instruments - and the talented musicians! I highly recommend the Silvermist and Drumstruck experience to anyone and everyone. My 6-year old son was enthralled - and even the adults enjoyed the lawn games, pig, sheep, geese, and dogs. Unforgettable!

Fusion of African Culture with a taste of the Cape Wine - I have to admit this event was such a surprise. From beginning to end it was such an enjoyable time. The actors took us through a journey of African musical instruments which was narrated by the singing and acting of the Drumstruck cast. That in itself was so well done, but then we were all given our own African instruments and participated in a really fun musical story. The kids and adults loved it. Prior to the Drumstruck event we had been treated to a wine tasting from the Silvermist wine maker himself Greg Louw. We've done a few wine tastings, but this was so interesting and fun at the same time. I fully recommend anyone to go and enjoy this...young and old.
