Absolutely Amazing Experience! - My wife an I went there 29/1/25. What an amazing experience! Firstly the wine tasting, expertly narrated by Greg who is also the owner as well as winemaker. The wines were amazing delivered in a beautiful setting. Then on to the drum show which was an amazing experience, the African beat and atmosphere really ‘gets into you’ and is totally infectious especially as the audience is given instruments to join in! This was followed by the Braai (which is optional) with more music and dancing outside. Everybody there enjoyed the experience and I can say it was one of the best experiences we have had in the 13 years of coming to South Africa and will remember this for a very long time. Congratulations to Warren and Greg and all the staff for an amazing experience. Thank you from the man that asks a few questions.

You just cannot miss this. Spectacular and energetic - If there is one thing you cannot miss in Cape Town this is it. Started with a tasting of excellent wines from the farm. The show itself was absolutely fantastic. The energy and dance and singing in a small venue was some of the best we have ever seen. The singers/musicians were just amazing and the energy was infectious. Especially loved the participatory section at the end. My 10 year old grandson had an absolute ball. Then lovely braised food and marimba music afterwards capped an incredible afternoon. Pricing was very reasonable also

An essential Cape Town experience - don't miss if you're here! - Exceeded expectations. Lovely wines and an exceptional drumming experience. The performers were so engaging and passionate - they had the whole room participating and enjoying themselves. If you're visiting Cape Town, this is an absolutely essential experience. I am even considering a second visit before we leave.

This is a piece of art - This show was a piece of art. This is a MUST SEE when in Cape Town. The show is about the history of African Music performed by great professionals. You can have a braai afterwards with the band playing Marimba with a great view. Absolutely magic!!!

Delightful afternoon - It was a pleasure to meet Greg, the winemaker and owner of Silvermist. He is very knowlegable and passinate about the wines and he made the wine tasting very interesting. The presented wines were great. We enjoyed the show tremendously. The artists are very talented. The interactive part was delightful. It was a pure joy learning the basics to play a drum and then everyone joining the artists in several songs. We traveled quite a lot and attended many shows. This show is indeed a world class, in terms of received emotions and enjoyment. The braai was delicious, with variety of meats, side dishes and dessert. While wine tasting was presented on the lawn overlooking beautiful mountains, the braai was served inside due to cold weather. Nevertheless, we enjoyed spectacular views of Sivlermist after the braai. I would highly recommend this whole experience to spend enjoyable afternoon.

best experience in cape town !! 100% recommend - I recently attended the Drumstruck show at Silvermist in Constantia Nek, Cape Town, with my friends, and it was hands down the highlight of my trip. The owners, Warren and Greg, were incredibly warm and welcoming—some of the most down-to-earth people I’ve ever met. Their hospitality set the perfect tone for the evening, and the carefully selected wines were absolutely delightful, complementing the experience beautifully. As for the performance, it was beyond incredible—easily one of the best events I’ve ever attended. The artists and performers are exceptionally talented, blending captivating vocals, acting skills, and mesmerizing musical artistry. Their ability to hold the audience’s attention is simply mind-blowing. The show takes you on a journey through the rich tapestry of African musical instruments, and the interactive element—where the audience gets to play the instruments—makes it even more special. Drumstruck is a true celebration of African culture, music, and talent. I cannot recommend it highly enough and would absolutely attend again. If you’re in Cape Town, this is an experience you simply cannot miss!

Great afternoon activity for all ages. - This was a really fun / interactive event. I love that the director is working to preserve African drum music. The show was really upbeat and the drummers were so sweet to actively include the oldest and quietest in attendance. The wine was lovely. Having visited some very high dollar wine establishments, it was great to meet the wine maker and learn some of the real ropes. Some might call the event a bit quirky - but we loved it!!!
