Grateful for being so accommodating - Big thank you to Clement for taking us on this tour! We were 30 minutes late getting off another tour and he was so kind and communicative and ended up taking us through the tour on our own. Thank you again so much Clement!

Good township experience - An excellent driver and guide, who, together with a local, delivers a nice, concise township experience. Nice guy, who doesn't talk your ears off. Reliable and inexpensive.

Super knowledgeble - Feel at Home in Cape Town me and my from Chicago USA for a cultural township tour, it's was really something to remember, we tested some African food and home made ginger beer, we interrupted with the local and learned about South Africa black history and coloured people. Was very good and I will recommend Feel at Home in Cape Town for their wonderful and professional services.

Scam - did not honor the lunch or hotel pick up - incredibly rude as well - We booked a tour with transportation and lunch. We received a message on the morning of our tour (after payment cannot be canceled) that they would not be picking us up. They said it costs extra even though we literally showed them on the voucher where it said hotel pick up and had our hotel address. To walk would take an hour and we were with my ten year old. We didn't want to miss the opportunity as it was our one free day to do the tour, so we paid the cost of transportation and arrived, determined to have a good time. Upon arrival, I asked if lunch was first or later in the tour. The guide literally looked at me and said, "No, lunch is too expensive." I showed him where it was on the voucher and part of what we had paid for (there were cheaper tours but this one included pick up and lunch so we thought it was worth it). I told him I needed to feed my child at a minimum. He told me I had 7 to 8 minutes to find food somewhere nearby. I was furious and I don't get mad easily. There was no place with quick food except a corner store so we bought chips and Oreos and ate them in the car. It was supposed to be a group tour but they said they overbooked the bus so it was just us. After I bought snacks for my kid, an Uber shows up. He literally ordered a car for us, but wouldn't get one to pick us up at the hotel as the voucher stated. After Langa, another Uber took us to Bokaap. We saw an art store and the guide walked us to another museum, which was closed. He then told us the tour was over and literally walked away. We were literally left in the street and kept looking at each other thinking that this has to be a joke. I have used Viator for years in multiple countries and this is the first bad review I have ever written. I can only hope I spare you from the experience we had. The only good part of this was our actual township tour. There was a separate guide there and he was fabulous. You should absolutely still go see Langa but do it with any other tour company than "Feel At Home Cape Town". You will not feel at home. You will feel like you got robbed. Run the other way, quickly. Last, but definitely not least, we requested a partial refund to cover our transportation costs and lunch. The tour company responded "You come to Africa to eat? Or for township experience? You should be ashamed 😡😠" I will see if I can upload the screenshots of the WhatsApp messages from the entire ordeal. Again, run away as fast as you can from this company.
