Enjoyable time, and good billtong - Greg and Lindi provide a friendly environment to learn about the history and making of billtong. It's in their home, which is nice and intimate. They provide some good tastings and you get the chnace to prepare some biltong sticks. They provide some of the recipes to you during and they have since sent me the photos and another recipie at no extra cost. if you're a meat lover its a good experience. It lasted 1.5hours. they offered thsirt to buy at the end however I would have liked to be offered to purchase some billtong or some seasonings.

Enjoyable chatting and learning - We had a good time with Soutie & Boerenooi, sharing with us their stories about history of biltong, the Africaan language and more, with tasting of different biltongs, sweet snacks, brewed chicory coffee.... They made it fun and interactive.

Great experience! - I got my dad a ticket as a father's day gift to this experience and Greg was so awesome in contacting both myself and my dad before the experience. My dad had such a great time with Greg and his wife and how lovely hearing how excited and happy my dad was. 😊😊 A big thanks to Greg and his wife for making this experience so awesome for my dad and for going to extra mile - so that my dad could bring some goodies back home. Thanks Greg!

A tasty cultural experience - I've participated in Soutie's Biltong Making Sessions many times and I've enjoyed every single one. It's a feast for all the senses and immerses one into a distinct part of South African culture. The host is friendly and his passion for biltong is evident, and he's eager to share tips and tricks for making your own at home. He shares additional information that enriches the experience in an easy-going manner. The session is relaxed and interactive with lots of laughs, many things to taste and much useful information about the Afrikaans language and culture. The setting is intimate and the groups are small so it's a wonderful way to get to know fellow travelers. It also impressed me that Soutie accommodated non-meat eating companions and even those with special requests
