Cape Town Top Ten Super Tour - Worth The Time!! - The sights in and around Cape Town / Cape Point were Fantastic!!! Gordon was our driver/tour guide. Gordon did a wonderful job of driving, explaining, highlighting, stopping, and giving us time to take pictures and visit without feeling rushed. He truly was a great ambassador for Cape Town and the surrounding area! Give that man a raise!!! :-) *The one disappointment was we came at a time when Table Mountain was closed for maintenance and service. I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Cape Town.

Great day around Cape Town sights - We saw so many sites, penguins and sea lions. Sylvie, our tour guide gave us a great presentation, so many things to see around Cape Town. We understand why they call it the mother city. Let the pictures represent what we saw.

An awesome day in Capetown - We were picked up promptly at 7:30 am, on April 26 th 2024 . The tour guide came into the hotel and picked us up and was very pleasant as was our driver . I feel remiss that I don’t recall their names because they were so knowledgeable and patient . Unfortunately for the wind we were not able to go Table Mountain but our tour guide made sure our day was full . We enjoyed this tour very much and the guide and driver were always accessible for questions , taking pictures and general knowledge . I will try to list as many of our stops and sights as I can remember . To begin with South Africa is a beautiful country . We made our way out of the city as our guide pointed our various locations and sights . We made our way to Maiden Cove at Camps Bay , very beautiful …great picture stop of the ocean and coastline. On to Hout Bay and Sentinal Mountain . Another great stop . On the way our guide pointed out a series of rugged mountain tops he referred to as the Twelve Apostles . And of course no trip would be complete without a stop a Cape of Good Hope where the oceans meet and is the southern most place on the African continent . What a memorable place , so beautiful and tranquil . Along the trip we passed Ostrich Farms and saw an Antelope colony grazing in the distance . In Noordhoek and Scarborough have the most beautiful white sandy beaches . Seaside towns in West Cape . Along the way we saw a couple Baboons that are wild and bother residents by getting into garbage much like the raccoons in the U.S. But I would not want to encounter a wild baboon, they can be dangerous . We visited Boulders Beach where the Penguin Colony lives . What a great seeing these penguins that were almost extinct at one time now growing . These penguins are the only penguins that are from only Africa , I guess that’s why they call them the African Penguins . They do remind me of the little penguins found at Phillips Island in Australia . When we arrived at the site their internet was down and since they don’t take cash we had to wait until it worked which was sporadically. Luck would have it and we all got to visit . We had plenty of free time and took lots of pics . These penguins love to burrow and when they molt they stuff themselves as they can’t return to the waters for 20 or so days to feed because their new feathers haven’t become waterproof yet and would drown or be someone else’s dinner . We then visited Simon’s Town for lunch at a very nice restaurant on the harbor . We also stopped at a small shopping village where we picked up coffee , and treats and some wonderful jams from Pincushion preserves. There were so many other places we visited that I can’t remember them all and the information our guide shared with us was spot on … our driver was a very good driver and he also had a wealth of information . I hope these two gentleman get recognition they deserve. This has to be one of the best tours I have taken while we toured Africa. It also is very reasonable for what you get receive . We were picked up that mornjng at the Marriott waterfront hotel and when we returned we were moving to the Westin Convention hotel which was just around the corner , we had expected we would pick up our luggage at the Marriott and walk our luggage to the Westin . But our guide and driver insisted they pick up our luggage and drop us off at the Westin hotel. What wonderful employees you have that offer that gesture. Folks if you want 5 star tour with excellent tour guides ( I do hope you get ours) book through Ingwe Africa Safaris and Tours . We chose the Top 10 Super Tour:Table Mountain, Penguins and Cape of Good Hope Small Group Tour .

Get the Skip the Queue ticket at Table Mountain - I paid for the Cable Car priority cable car ticket and glad I did it. Got to jump the queue and spend more time up the mountain than the rest of the group. Well organized trip, knowledgeable guide.

Trip.of lifetime - We booked this as had little time in cape town and this tour appeared to give you exactly what you needed. Initially told pick up 0830 then had text to say 0810 we had early breakfast arranged by manager special for us stood outside beautiful day could see table mountain clearly guide did not arrive by 0810 or 0830at 0840 went into hotel got manager to call as had sent text messages to both viator and company viator tried to sort out no response from company manager rang they said doing pick ups now went back outside 0915 received call from tour guide stuck in traffic really you do this tour daily you should know the traffic situation arrived 0940 nearly 2 hours late we paid 80 odd pounds for the two of us plus we had park fees to pay we went straight to table mountain told had 45 mins should have been 2 hrs by time at top mist coming down so didnt see much moved onto a beach 10 min stop then to chapman peak 10 mins rushed around had a coffee break but had to take coffee on board as rushed again went to penguins next out of sequence due to late and would miss lunch 45 with penguins then lunch seaforth which was lovely will review separately then to cape of good hope which should of been 45 mins paid 400 park fees for 10 minutes enough time to get photo then taken to penguin location again going back on ourselves losing 15 mins just to see statute of dog that none of us wanted to see we saw bo napp houses in dark guide blamed us as had to pick us up not good customer service the guide was also quite vocal in the slavery making a bigpoint of white and african slaves not in a professional way. Also when doing table mountain he made reference to the fact no accidents in the cable car there were a few of us afraid of heights so not a good comment in tjlhe way he said it also his constant running commentary would of been ok but he kept repeating himself over and over again which got monotonus all 8n all.out of over 20trips booked on tjis holuday this is the one i was so disappointed in having paid 80but we still paid for everything else

Wasted money - Late pick up by 1.40hours no update until i got hotel manager to call told on way then another 20 mins i get a phone call to say stuck in traffic surely as a tour company would be aware of traffic and adapt pick up times. On way to table mountain scared me as afraid of heights by saying oh by the way there are no recorded incidents on the cable cars not a good thing to say. We were given 45 mins on table mountain should of been 2 hours got to top sun went in mist came up so got a few shots in but if had been on time on pick up would have great shots then rushed around for rest of trip 5 mins here and there went to penguin boulder first due to behind schedule to enable lunch then cape of hope paid 400 zar each for 10 mins to fight for a photo before back in coach not good waste of money as could not take a good look around but then to make matters worse went back down to penguins to see statute of dog 20 to 30 minutes wasted by going back on self stopped in dark on a promenade to see railway line then into waterfront bo knapp but couldnt see anything then guide tried to blame mother nature for darkness all in all not happy with the service payments for things didnt have time to spend at and guide repeated himself so much he became monotomous and made you zone out from him i am really disappointed in this tour and this particular one not worth the money
