Traverse the dusty lapilli, which seems to quieten sound and life, then ascend to the 1995 peak before making a brief climb to gaze into the vibrant, smoking crater formed in 2014. Encounter areas where lava has interrupted the cobblestone road and pause for a well-earned picnic. Afterwards, descend the path, taking approximately 45 minutes to return to your hotel.

Great experience - The tour was a great alternative to the more challenging hike to the peak! Our guide led is to the smaller crater of 2014 through some vineyards and we also went into a cave forned by the 1995 eruption inside a cooled down lava stream. You even get the experience of "sliding" down the ashy slope of the volcano!

Good tour to hiking Fogo - It was a good way to visit the volcano in Fogo.
When I visit there, there are almost no other travelers. In order not to get lost, you need a guided tour.
The view from the mountain was great. The guide was very helpful to support my hiking.
This tour is from Cha das Caldeiras.
If you stay in Sao Fripe, you can ask for the operater to tranfer in additional charge.
This tour is not to the top of the mountain, but the middle of the point.
