Highlights
- The Butchart Gardens - Explore of the worlds finest garden displays. This attraction is open year round and they do plant for the season. This is Vancouver Islands biggest attraction.
This is an old Lime Quarry transformed into an amazing display of color and flowers, surrounded by a beautiful lush forest.
- Chinatown - Welcome to Canada’s oldest Chinatown, home to the narrowest Alley in Canada, Fan Tan Alley.
- Craigdarroch Castle - We will stop by quickly to capture some quick photos of the exterior and talk about the Castles and its history.
We are not scheduled to tour inside the castle.
- Beacon Hill Park - Drive through the cities largest inner city park. The park offers beautiful fountains, gardens, free roaming peacocks, and other birds, a petting zoo, and home to the worlds tallest totem pole, standing at 127’ tall 7”
- Fisherman’s Wharf - We will stop by quick to visit one of Victoria most unique houseboat communities. all the houseboats are built in their own unique architect and the wharf is home to some great little eateries such as Barbs Fish and Chips.
- Surfside Adventure Tours - Enjoy a private Luxury City Tour around Victoria and the Butchart Gardens with your own private driver and tour guide.
- Mile Zero - Stop at the start of the Trans Canada Highway on Vancouver Island at its most southern point.
- Government House - We will drive through the beautiful Estate of the Government House in Victoria. The grounds are made up of beautiful lush gardens. We will not be going into the house, we will just stop at the grounds for a quick visit and photos.
- Legislative Assembly of British Columbia - We will stop at an appropriate location so you may take photos of the Parliament Building. It is just as beautiful at night as it is during the day as it is lit up with over 3000 lights outlining its beautiful architect.
- Empress Hotel National Historic Site of Canada - We will stop at an appropriate place to park where you make take some photos of the Historical Empress Hotel and talk about its history.
- Carr House - We will drive by Emily Carr’s birth Place and stop for a quick photo and talk about the history quick as we are doing our Luxury City Tour.

Superb, quiet hotel, centrally located - Incredible hotel which is centrally located, walkable, and convenient to activities and restaurants. The staff is attentive and welcomed my wife and I each time we returned. Maid service is excellent. Certainly would return here

Great tour! - Our driver, Alan, was phenomenal!! He provided lots of information and history about all the sights we saw in Victoria. He also provided great advice about the best way to see the Butchart Gardens once we were inside the gates - we are SO GLAD we followed his advice. Highly recommend.

Loved our guide, Alan - Alan A. Was a wonderful guide. We enjoyed the gardens and sightseeing. He knew we likes wildlife and went out of his way to make sure our trip was catered to our likes. We had a handicapped friend with us and he was so helpful with making her comfortable. Way to go!

Great time spent in Victoria - The drive along the coast line and the visit to the Butchart Gardens were the highlights of the tour. Lee talked and explained all of the points of interest along the way.

Comfortable and scenic private tour - We loved this last stop on our cruise and the tour with Alan was perfect. He was right there when we exited the ship with clear signage to find him. The vehicle was comfortable and clean. Alan had a wealth of knowledge and shared so much about the island and the city. The tour was scenic and beautiful. Alan took us to the Butchart Gardens first and beat all the crowds. We loved the Sunken Garden, Carousel, and Gelato the most. The tour of the city included great photos at the Craigdarroch Castle and other key points of Victoria. We were able to squeeze in a lot of memories even with a short time at this port. I highly recommend this tour and Alan’s exceptional service, kindness, and knowledge. Thank you again Alan for making our stop in Victoria so memorable. We will be back.

Excellent tour of the highlights of Victoria. - Alan was an incredible tour guide for the City of Victoria. He made sure we saw as much as possible and packed the time available with so much that we want to come back to see Victoria and the Butchart Gardens in more depth. He was so friendly and accommodating and answered all of our questions and even showed us foodies some different local stops to get great food. You can't go wrong in booking with his company. Excellent tour to give you the highlights of Victoria. We look forward to visiting Victoria again.

Great experience! - We were limited on time as we arrived by seaplane from Vancouver and left out on a ferry to Seattle and wanted to get in as much of Victoria and Butchart Gardens as we could in an afternoon. There were four of us with all of our luggage and we didn’t want to lug it around Butchart gardens. So we decided to rent a private guide/driver. Great decision! Alan was on time, courteous, had a van with plenty of room for us and our luggage. He even watched it while we were out touring. Also very knowledgeable about Victoria and took us to a great little market for lunch. Would definitely do this again when we return!
