Traversa Monticello - Guests will experience a 5-course cheese and wine pairing and extra virgin olive oil tasting in our outdoor artisan kitchen in a villa in Anacapri.
Delicious local cheeses such as fior di latte, mozzarella di bufala DOP, caciotta, caciocavallo, and Provolone del Monaco DOP will be perfectly paired with our Michel’angelo white, rose and red wine varieties (including IGT and DOCG wines), while polishing your Italian cheese knowledge and learning about the grapes and olives of Campania.
Guests will also taste 5 varieties of our extra virgin olive oil learning about tasting techniques, olive harvesting, and production of extra virgin olive oil. The perfect afternoon aperitivo session before easing into the Caprese nightlife.

Settle into a genuine experience with Caprese native chef, Gianluca. His 12 years of restaurant management have instilled a deep professionalism and meticulousness, which now comes to life in a serene, garden setting. This is a seamless continuation of the wine and cheese tasting sessions they conducted in their restaurant for more than eight years. Gianluca’s wife, Holly, an Australian, will engage the guests with fascinating stories about the origin of the cheeses, wines, and extra-virgin olive oil, and their correlations with Caprese gastronomy and tradition.
