Private two-week trip to Peru organized by Trippers Peru - Trippers Peru organized a two-week private trip through Peru for us. We are very satisfied with the tour, driver and travel companions. Hotels were top class. We highly recommend this Peruvian travel agency for day trips but also for complete Peru tours

Spectacular 18 days Peru / Galapagos trip - We booked an 18 days tour through Peru (13 days) and Ecuador (5 days - mainly Galapagos) and are excited. Whole trip very well organised with tons of attractions and great 24/7 online availability for questions and support throughout the trip. Highly recommend operator.

Excellent organization - Trippers Peru is excellent travel agency. At the beginning we were not sure to go with them to Peru (there was no review after 2019 - because of COVID) but something told me to go... And I was right! Organization was perfect (everything on time - transport, buses, guides,...), hotel were very good (good quality, super location - especially in Cusco), guides also. Highly recommended!

Well worth the effort - This was a fantastic experience. It requires a full day commitment for trip from Lima, but you won't be disappointed. The location is among the most remote I have been to and I have visited sites throughout Mexico and Central America for the past 20 years. I took a private trip. My guide Jesus was superb.

Excellent Service - My Trip to Peru is an amazing experience. The guide Jesus did a great job of explaining the history of the site . He recommended the most visited and top destinations, as well as some exclusive destinations that are rarely visited by regular tourists. I really must consider that the agency fulfilled our expectations and much more, very grateful for a wonderful trip. By Sim.

Caral - This site was an amazing place to visit. Until coming to peru I didn't even realize this civilization existed and was the oldest in the Americas. This tour was fantastic, the guide Jesus did a great job of explaining the history of the site and surrounding area. If you like archeology this really is a can't miss!

Must visit Caral, but not with this tour operator. - Worth visiting for the site, not sure if with this tour operator: This is an amazing civilisation with over 5000 years - the oldest civilisation in America, second oldest in the world (only 300 years younger than Mesopotamia), accommodating more than 3,000 inhabitants. There was no trace of warfare has been found at Caral: no battlements, no weapons, no mutilated bodies. It suggests it was a gentle society, built on commerce and pleasure. In one of the temples, they uncovered 32 flutes made of condor and pelican bones and 37 cornetts of deer and llama bones. One find revealed the remains of a baby, wrapped and buried with a necklace made of stone beads. If you are in Peru, his is a must-see site! Regarding the tour operator: I was picked up at the hotel at 5 am by 2 men (one driver and companion of the driver). As this was a private tour, I was on my own in the back seat, and neither the driver nor his companion interacted with me throughout the trip, unless when strictly necessary (such as toilet break at gas stations). We were stopped by the police 3 times on the way to Caral, and no explanation or interaction was ever given to me. They both spent all the trip chatting to each other in Spanish, totally ignoring me in the back of the car for 4 hours each way, probably not aware of the fact that I understood them. When we arrived at Caral, I was appointed a dedicated site gide (she was amazing and walked me thought the whole site, explaining everything for 1,5 hours). After the guided tour, I was allowed by the site guide to go on top of the hill for a panoramic view of the site and further pictures. I was there for about 15 min, until the driver and his companion called me back, as they were in a hurry to return to Lima. On the way back, we stopped at a gas station for some water and a bag of crips (paid by the tour organiser) - not really a lunch! We dropped off the driver's friend at the outskirts of Lima, and the driver dropped me off at the hotel. In summary: Not a pleasant tour to do on your own, 8 hours with 2 man in a car, who do not even speak to you to explain why we were stopped 3 times by the police. There was a point I started to fear if I was in danger or not. All went well as the site visit itself was amazing, but I would though not recommend getting to this site using this tour operator, as, besides the driving, they did nothing else, and the tour is very expensive!

Caral - Interesting tour, a long drive to get there but you see a lot of a coastal Peru at the same time , 5000 yo civilisation, there is not many as old discovered out there. Be ready for an Indiana Jones kind of a drive for the last half an hour but isn't it what makes like exciting 😁😁

This Tour Is Fraud - We booked a private tour for two in English with lunch Our tour guide spoke a maximum of 10 English words, and spent her time with headphones on watching a movie or sleeping. When we asked her questions about Caral city, she said in broken English that she doesn’t know history very well and offered us an alternative of a coral city park tour guide who spoke Spanish only. Since the tour is about 10 hours long, most of which you spend in the car, we have asked about the promised lunch there was no lunch we were offered to buy an only option to buy a small bag of cookies for 5 soles. The tour is a scam that has ruined our stay in Lima.

Avoid this Tour- Not Worth the Expensive Cost - The archeological site was interesting but not worth the 4 hour drive outside of Lima. The guide showed little interest and didn’t provide adequate translation during the tour. The guides at the archeological site also speak no English- so we had to try and listen to another interpreter it quickly try and read very small translation on a board. We were not picked up in an air conditioned van as indicated but rather a car that had a severely damaged windshield at which on return from site we were stopped by police and a bribe was paid by the guide. There was no break for lunch and they made one stop at a local roadside vendor in the early morning that foreign tourist would not find satisfying or safe to eat (needless to say) we didn’t eat the food while the driver and guide ate breakfast. The snack offered was a bottle of water and a small piece of chocolate. Then the guide got out 45 mins prior to returning us to our hotel and left us with a non English speaking driver. I honestly feel TripAdvisor served us poorly in charging us almost $600 for this trip. I would definitely not recommend this trip to any English speaking tourist.
