• Carcassonne - Christmas in Carcassonne is wonderful. We’re going to explore the New Town area of the city, working through the Christmas markets and past the beautiful lights and decorations, through your camera or smartphone lens! We talk about the overall principles of great photography, but without any of the unnecessary jargon, and we’ll look at what we think makes a perfect photo. Our walk will take us through to the Port of the Canal du Midi, and along to the Pont Marengo, pausing at various points to reflect on a new aspect of photography. We jump behind the lens to try them out.

We’ll wander along the cobbled lanes, finding spots to learn about, and to practice black and white photos, landscape, portrait and action shots before moving to the more popular areas around Place Carnot, where the biggest Christmas market is and turning to the famous Pont Vieux for a final summary.

Our online community is accessible to all those taking part, and details of this will be offered to participants, at the end. We’re Instagram friendly! Our tour is for photography beginners, for those with a real passion for taking snaps, and for those that know a thing or two about cameras. All welcome!
