The Cardiff Tasting Tour is a fun and delicious way of discovering Cardiff.
On the Cardiff Tasting Tour you will enjoy a range of tastings including Welshcakes, cockles, cheeses and Welsh cider. We also get to discover Cardiff, its beautiful parks, majestic buildings, famous landmarks as well as finding the best places to eat, drink and shop!
Cardiff Tasting Tours run once a month on a Saturday from 24 Feb until 23 Nov 2024.
Tours start at Cardiff Castle at 10 00 and end at 12 30.
Duration 2.5 hours. Inclusions • Tastings of Welsh food and drink, information re Welsh cuisine and culture, plus a few words of Welsh on a guided walking tour of Cardiff. • French, Italian and Spanish Guides available.

We meet inside Cardiff Castle by the outdoor cafe where the Loving Welsh Food guide will be waiting for you. If you tell the staff at the entrance to Cardiff Castle that you are with the Cardiff Food tours, they will point you towards the cafe.

Great new insights into the Cardiff food and drink scene - Being Cardiff natives, we wondered what “new” things we’d find. Sian didn’t disappoint!
We were delighted to be introduced to new restaurants, new snippets of Cardiff/Wales history and discover some lovely flavours on our stops.
This is a relaxing way to find out some of the great things you’ve been missing, in the company of an engaging and informative host.

Great experience - A very interesting, cosmopolitan walking tour of the centre of Cardiff, sampling 7 different international foods from Portuguese custard tarts to Indian street food. We also learnt a great deal about the great city of Cardiff along the way from a great Cardiff born guide. Highly recommended.

Wonderful and we would do this again. - Fantastic food tour, excellent guided tour around the city, very relaxed and informative.it was lovely to meet some of the participating vendors who were really friendly and welcoming.

Like Catching Up With An Old Friend - In America you cannot do better than hit a home run but Sian (pronounced Shawn) hit a grand slam! The walk, the talk, the food, the sights, oh my goodness they could not have been better. Just starting up again after the covid shutdown, Sian picked up where they left off and impressed us with facts about Wales and Cardiff and of course FOOD. Her selection of foods and vendors was spot on for enjoying both sweet and savory. A taste here, a taste there were well beyond our expectations. Drink was well presented. Our whole tour was like visiting an old friend and catching up! This food tour was the highlight of our 4 days in Cardiff!
