Fun and deliciously tasty way to spend a few hours in Cardiff - I really enjoyed this tour which mixes delicious food with a bit of Cardiff history, especially the splendid and wonderfully maintained Edwardian Arcades. Travelling on my own, I was delighted to meet the fellow tourers who all seemed equally happy to sample a wide variety of culinary delights from some small independent businesses. The tour has been intelligently designed with a perfect mix of sweet and savoury, walking, sitting and drinking! Our guide Sian, was knowledgeable about both all the food and her home town, and was great at including everybody in a helpful and friendly way. Would happily return for this trip tomorrow!

Best 4 hours in town for a long time! - What a fabulous way to spend an afternoon in Cardiff. Enjoyed this tour last Friday with a group of friends and were expertly guided to seven or eight different local locations dotted across our wonderful Arcades. Nerys was an excellent friendly and knowledgeable host and boy, did we sample some food and welcomes. A particular stand out was Nighthawks, a hidden gem serving the most delicious Rhosyn Rosè from Llanerch Vineyard. Welsh wine at its best - as was the extraordinarily amazing cheese toastie. I’ve never tasted anything as lush on the bread & cheese front! The team were all over the answers to our questions as was the expert at Wally’s as we sampled (and bought with our 10% tour discount!) charcuterie and cheese from incredible Welsh producers. Great food and history in the central market, Welsh cakes and then ice cream in the gorgeous Swoon unit in Duke Street Arcade. Finished off with a sherry and sweet treat in Bar44. We had learnt some things we didn’t know about Cardiff, been reminded of the incredible value and offer hidden within our unique arcades, eaten all sorts of fabulous food, chatted endlessly and had a right laugh. All in all, a top day out. Diolch o galon i’r oll tîm, yn cynnwys y manwerthwyr, am y croeso ac am drefnu p’nawn mor ddiddorol.

Arcade tour - What a great walking tour, Ieuan our guide was brilliant, really nice guy. I’m Cardiff born and bred but I learned lot about Cardiff’s history and also discovered new places to eat and drink.
Whether your local or from away I would higher recommend tour.

Fab day out! - Having lived in Cardiff for many years I had no idea about the history and culture associated with the shopping arcades in the city. It was both an interesting and educational afternoon as well as a culinary delight. I would recommend this experience to both visitors to Cardiff and residents.
