The weather is mild, with temperatures ranging from 34.2°F to 44.0°F on February 1st, making it a comfortable day for walking tours. The partly cloudy skies add a touch of mystery to the landscape, enhancing the romantic atmosphere. As you stroll along the Cardiff Bay Wetland Reserve or enjoy the views from the Harbour Wall Viewpoint, you’ll find yourself immersed in the beauty and history of this fascinating area.
Informative, fun, and really accessible - My husband and I offered to trial Helen’s walking tour as we live close to Cardiff. Despite visiting the Bay many times, there are a lot of features that I’ve walked past and not thought much of, or never researched when I got home. Helen’s tour was brilliant. It encouraged us to look in all directions, from the tops of buildings to down on the ground, and provided lots of fantastic information about buildings and landmarks I’ve seen so many times, but knew so little about. The total walk was about 4km which was really nice, and took us right down towards Penarth - somewhere else I’ve never been! We came away with lots of great knowledge, and recommendations for some great ice cream! I’d definitely recommend Helen’s tour if you’re visiting the Bay for a day trip because you’ll really get the most out of it, and you’ll learn a lot. (Reviewed at: 2023-12-11)
