Great fun and delicious food - Out chef Rudy made us welcome in his kitchen. The results were delicious and my girlfriend and I think it was the best part of our whole week in Punta Cana.

Fun cooking experience - We found our cooking experience very fun and enjoyable.the food- mostly prepared by us, was acceptable- although one of the lobsters was pretty small. It's located in a little mall, and they have a store that they walk you through- but I never felt pressured to buy which I appreciated!! And as soon as we were ready to leave- we were escorted out to our ride- I felt very safe the entire time!! Rudy( our chef) was engaging and easy to talk to- and best of all it was only our party- which they don't advertise- but they don't add strangers to your group- this made our mother daughter day even better!! Highly recommend!!

Who knew? - We had the BestTime! Our chef Ruddy taught us how to cook a fabulous lobster dinner and our husbands did most of the cooking! Good food, good fun, and great memories!

8 leg fun for all! - When planning our trip to Punta Cana one thing on our bucket list was for an authentic cooking class for our family to enjoy and Taino Cooking Lab, Francesca and the entire staff were so enjoyable, patient, and fun that we definitely will book again with them when we return! We had so much fun cooking our octopus and eating them. We started the night by Francesca introducing herself and the staff and getting us drinks. She then proceeded to tell us some history of the cocao and the process they use in the Dominican to make all the different items with a very abundant product that is grown local. Our boys loved hearing all about it and we did also. The shrimp appetizer we created was delicious and we were taught a little about presentation but is was sooooo good I wanted more. We chopped, boiled, mixed and stirred our entire meal and enjoyed every minute of our experiences. So you know, our boys are 15,14 & 12. For our experience it was the perfect class for us. We highly recommend Francesca, Taino staff and food lab for all! Thanks again and we hope to see you again!

What a WONDERFUL local experience! - We stayed at an all inclusive resort, so this was one of the experiences of the actual culture that we had engaging with the local culture. It was so much fun. The hands on cooking coupled with the lessons of fine chocolate, Mama Juana and local produce were great! I learned a few Spanish sentences too! I have NEVER seen avocados so big! They tasted like they came straight from the Gods. I highly recommend it for a fun night on the island!

Not there yet - Not in English. Everyone nice but recipes in European amounts eg., kilograms, etc Couldn’t understand directions or see. Tried hard but needs some work. Clean and modern but not organized.

Disappointing! Food already prepped. "Chef" basically did all cooking. Lobster was not cleaned. Over cooked. No shrimp or desse - Did not teach well, everything was rushed. We barely cooked, chef controlling stove top and most of cooking. All food was already prepped. She also over cooked the lobster, which had not been cleaned prior to boiling. As a result, there was waste in the boiling pot which was exposed to the meat of the lobster. I ended up with diarrhea so bad that I had to see a pharmacist to get treatment. There wasn't any shrimp or dessert as the excursion description states as part of the offer. Staff was only interested in gift shop sales.
