Mind blowing - Monica Hudson was a very knowledgeable tour director! She provided information that wasn’t on line. We learned so much about Carmel. It was definitely worth the time.

Don’t Miss This Tour - We had an outstanding experience with Monica on our Walking Tour of Carmel. She is an expert guide on this lovely city. We learned so much history & saw parts of the village we would never see on our own. As other reviewers have said, she wrote the book &, as visitors, we benefit from her knowledge. Many thanks for a wonderful tour.

Feb 2025 tour - Informative and got a background into Carmel-by-the-sea we wouldn’t have gotten otherwise! Monica is passionate about the history of the area and has done her own research.

Carmel, history and culture - Monica, our guide, has researched and collected photos of Carmel and published a lovely book on its history. She was a delight. Monica took us through delightful parklets, fascinating buildings and through hidden passages. This is a walk I would do again.

Friendly and Knowledgeable Tour Guide - Our tour guide, Monica, was a wealth of knowledge regarding the history of Carmel by the Sea. Our tour path circled the downtown area and touched on numerous historical sites and personalities. Monica is a talented storyteller with a deep knowledge of Carmel and the surrounding area. She is friendly and interacted with all the Carmel regulars who crossed our path. She was generous with her time and knowledge. We highly recommend this tour. If we are in the area in the future, I would enjoy taking the other tours she offers.
