Great cultural proposition! - Great proposition for an informative visit to the Carnac menhirs. Feedback is provided and accessible. The bus tour allows you to see the alignments from above and take photos. Several languages available accessible through headsets. Great outing, we loved it!

Ride with the convertible bus to the menhirs - The bus leaves from the visitor center. Price €7.00. Duration between 40 and 50 minutes. The bus is a convertible, the seats are comfortable. The headphones for the commentary are very good. I have never had such a smooth, clear commentary as here. Commentary available in 6 languages. The trip is informative, the accompanying text is very good and everything is explained in detail. The bus stops again and again so that you can take photos. The same offer is also available with the tourist train, but I personally prefer the bus, you drive on country roads with traffic, I would have a rather uneasy feeling about safety on the tourist train. The menhir fields are really impressive and when you imagine that these stones are between 4000 and 6000 years old, it is all the more impressive.

Convenient to visit Carnac - Reservation on the Internet easier, cheap and guided tour with headsets all languages. We can see very well the alignments because the bus is raised and the roof open in good weather. Avoids fatigue and allows you to see the whole site easily. The staff is lovely.

Quick and pleasant visit - The comments were very appreciated by the children (6 and 11 years old). The helmets are a little big for the younger ones. Pleasant visits that allow to have an overview on the site.

Carnac to see!!! - Carnac alignment really impressive and interesting to visit, the tour can be done on foot for good walkers (4 km long) otherwise small train or convertible car.

What do they all mean? - This is an easy and relatively inexpensive way to see the Menhir stones and takes about 30 minutes. Sit near the open windows probably avoiding the front seats. Remember that you do not get out of the bus but it stops for you to take photographs. The commentary is marginally interesting but really very little is known about the stones. The fields of stones themselves are inaccessible to walk through during the summer months. However some of them are outside the restricted area so can be touched if you walk or cycle along the route.

Bus tour to see all the alignments - Bus tour with large windows which allows you to see all the alignments. But depending on where you are placed on the bus you have more or less chance of taking beautiful photos. Lack of judicious stopping for photos. Damage. The shop is absolutely worth a visit; lots of interesting and unique memories.

Great bus journey but some wasted opportunities - Generally a worthwhile bus tour, but unfortunately with no opportunity to get up close to the actual stones as we were always on the bus. I was also unsure as to why we went all the back to Trinite (where we were staying) just to turn round and come back along the same route. I suspect this was to kill time and surely we could have spent more time near the actual stones? I did find out that there are times when accessibility is possible so may return if we’re in the area. Our driver was very professional and friendly and the audio guide useful.
