Unforgettable Experience - We spent 2 days touring with Caesar. He has a wealth of knowledge about the local customs and history. We have a greater appreciation for this beautiful area and the people. He tailored our tours to what we wanted. But he also made great suggestions to guide our choices. He is warm, enthusiastic and provided a wonderful experience for our group. We had a very memorable time and felt quite safe. I would highly recommend him!

Fantastic experience with locals and protecting ecosystem - A really fantastic experience, expertly led by the tour guide Katherine who was very knowledgeable and transported to and back to my hotel. Definitely worthwhile to appreciate the surrounding nature, learn about the ecosystem and the town of La Boquilla, and definitely highlights the important that we need to take care of Mother Nature. Do this trip and please tip the local people who are canoeing and serving food as their livelihood depends on it. I was even taught how to fish by the canoe guide! Well worth the experience and time!

Loved this tour - We loved this tour! I was a little hesitant to book it at first because it only had 6 reviews, but I’m so glad we did. We loved seeing the mangroves and the village, and the included lunch was delicious and a lot of food. Our guide Katherine was wonderful and I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Cartagena.

Fun experience with an amazing guide - We had a lot fun in this experience, got to see a different side of the city. We had an amazing guide Katerine, she spoke English very well and was a lot of fun. She drove us to/from and was our guide during the experience.

Falling in love with Colombia - Wow!!!! This was definitely a highlight of our trip. Belkin passionately taught us about the importance of the mangrove ecosystem and made us fall in love even more with Colombia. Gracias, Belkin. 😘. Wait until lunch is served. Yum!!!!

A little different to the city life - I had the opportunity to visit to The mangroves to the north of Cartagena in La Boquilla. The tour consists of a canoe ride through the mangrove forests and a chance to see some wildlife and birds. At this e pint you have a chance to try fishing with a cast net. The mangrove is peaceful and provides a glimpse of a different side of life. Afterwards, cool down with a coconut before enjoying a traditional Cartagena lunch of dish or chicken, rice, salad, and patacones. Although it’s a morning trip, César (César 2 as he calls himself) was a great guide who takes pride in providing an impeccable service he was 10 minutes early and very knowledgeable of the neighbourhoods you drive through to get to La Boquilla. This trip complements the bustle of Cartagena with the laid back beauty of the mangroves.

An authentic Cartagena experience - We got the chance to learn about the Barranquilla mangroves from our wonderful and hilarious guides. They boated us around to see how the locals fish and catch crabs, then treated us to the freshest most delicious lunch on the beach. This tour was a great way to see a side of Cartagena you wouldn't be able to see from inside the city. It was fun, relaxing, and truly enriched our trip to Colombia.

Memorable Experience - This was an overall great experience and Katherine is an amazing tour guide. She’s super smart and so much fun to talk to. The canoe ride with the fishing lesson was really enjoyable. The only downside was the lunch afterwards. It was at a random restaurant on a somewhat dirty beach. I would recommend that you enjoy the mangrove tour and maybe skip the lunch.
