Embarking from Cartagena port, our journey takes us to the republican-style island known as Manga. After a quarter of an hour, we pause for photo captures at the San Felipe de Baraja castle, constructed in 1686. Another quarter hour later, we explore the city’s historical center and allow time for shopping in the Groves - a maximum of half an hour. Our subsequent destination is the Emerald Museum followed by a 30-minute stroll where we take in the sights of Bolivar Park and landmarks like the Cathedral of Catalonian Sdanta of Alexandria, The Inquisition, Gold Museum, Clock Tower, and the San Pedo de Cablel church, with a brief exploration of the modern city of Bocagrande before wrapping up at the tourist port of Cartagena.
