Really fun food tour - and great food! - Our street food tour with Daniela was really fun. Definitely avoid eating beforehand because it was a lot of food! I really liked the variety, from breads to fruit stands, arepas, meats, and other yummy fried foods. We tried it all and she told us about the history and culture of the food along the way. No one in our group had stomach issues after in case you’re worried about that. Would definitely recommend!

Good intro to their foods - Daniella our guide was wonderful. Knowledgeable and very patient. Very helpful in assisting with other things as well. She made sure we tried as many as we could. It was sort of hard to enjoy them to their fullest. It was extremely hot. We were sweating perused and the eating and walking with a full tummy wasn’t good. The best part, when we finally stopped to have some fruits and ceviche. Make sure you can handle dairy and you like fried foods as well. It was a good tour overall. I enjoyed it and totally recommend it.

I’m no foodie, but love trying new things. - The most memorable part was when we made it to a stop to try their fruits and we were able to sit down and enjoy a lil shade and breeze. This was most enjoyable and also learning what they eat and how they eat. Daniella our guide was most gracious, kind and cute. Full of patience and energy. The weather did me in as it got up to 104 that day and I had an allergic reaction to something. I finished the tour of course but quickly exited when it was over. It was enjoyable. If you don’t do fry foods or dairy, this isn’t for you, but the fruits were delicious and tasty. I had a hard time finding the “meet up” location as signs aren’t always visible from The outside. Got there early so I’d have time just in case I got lost 😁 the communication between your and myself was great. Somehow they switched my time from 2 to 1pm but it all worked out. Please know some Spanish or else you’ll feel so lost.

Delicious food - Daniela was a great guide. Very friendly and knowledgeable! She made the start of our trip wonderful. She took us to places we continued to go to throughout our entire trip. The food was amazing. The empanadas con pollo at Loncheria pollo norte were to die for! Definitely worth it.

Must do if you want to experience Cartagena's food scene - I've done over a dozen street food tours in different places and this one takes the cake! There's truly no better way to experience both the city and the cuisine, it's a win-win. It's hard to choose a favorite food, we tried so many delicious local snacks, from fresh fruit to arepas and so many things in between. Come hungry--seriously; I had a light breakfast before and regretted it, this tour really fills you up. There's something like 8 stops, it's an exceptional value. Our tour guide was incredible, so friendly, and tailored the tour around various dietary restrictions. I'm a vegetarian and I didn't feel like I missed out or didn't get enough to eat. I highly recommend this tour, it was a standout experience in our time in Cartagena.

Taste buds delight - I can't rave enough about this tour. From mouth-watering fresh tropical fruits to savory empanadas, my taste buds were delighted. I felt perfectly safe as a foreigner eating the street food as I watched vendors use hygienic food prep. Our guide was fantastic, with great local knowledge, and clearly a good relationship with the local vendors. If you're looking for the full foodie experience, you've found the right company to go with!

Great food & stories with a local guide - Great street food tour with Daniela! My family of 9, from kids to grand parents, had a fabulous time at this street tour. Our tour guide spoke great English and had a wonderfully infectious bubbly personality. She also had two other staff members that did a lot of work running ahead, ordering, and setting things up for us so the tour went smoothly. We had several different dietary restrictions -- 2 vegetarians, some no beef, 1 no dairy -- and there was enough things to try that everyone was beyond full. Come hungry!! Empanadas, arepas, juices, fruits, pastries, bread, shrimp, so much food! This isn't just about trying street food, this is about the stories of the vendors and Cartagena culture.

Go hungry there’s a lot of food - Short 2 hour tour round the streets of Cartagena. Great knowledgeable guide in Daniela. From empanadas, mashed plantains with cheese, mango and pineapple with salt and pepper plus other fruits I can’t name, Chorizo, shrimp cocktail, specialty bread with cheese and pastries. Drinks a plenty ending with a small beer..

Just the Food - Perhaps we came into this tour with unfair expectations after our last food tour in Corfu was mind blowing. We were expecting a similar mix of fun walking tour, a little casual history, and some great food. The food was good and the group was small (we were 7 of 9 total). The tour guide was very nice. His assistant was late and the kids were raring to go while we waited a few minutes in the heat and then went on without her. We probably would have been fine having some pan de bono, hitting a fruit stand, and otherwise just waking around the old city. The ceviche and sausages were just ok. The beer was refreshing and the candy was yummy and interesting. One suggestion - the ceviche was the weakest part of the tour (Guinness record for volume but I had far superior ceviche multiple times on the trip) required a longer walk away from the vibrant part of the city. The starting bakery and the little market and fruit stand were the highlights.
