More details ✨ - 1. The pool is small. 2. The bathrooms are clean, they do not have showers. 3. They do not offer a trip to the oceanarium, kayak or snorkel, it is more of a resting place. 4. There are no vendors, it is a private and quiet place. 5. We leave around 9:00 am from the dock and it takes 1 hour to arrive, while they drop off passengers on other islands as well, and around 2:30 in the afternoon you must be getting ready to return to the city. It is a short stay, but the island does not have many attractions, in a while you will see everything. The island is small. 6. The captain of the boat at the end of the tour at the dock asks for a voluntary tip. 7. Bring water, beach shoes and towels.

A place to return to!! - 1. WhatsApp service must improve, a little more kindness and provide information in a more friendly and timely manner. 2. You must arrive early and the service is fast and organized. We purchased a bed on the beach but it had not been written in the reservation, therefore when you arrive at the service module to register, confirm all the information and services purchased. 3. The boat is comfortable and safe. It would be good if the people on the boat gave information about the tourist places they pass along the way. 4. The welcome is very warm, those who serve are very friendly and are attentive to the visitors. Miguel took care of us, excellent, friendly and very helpful. 5. I recommend purchasing beds on the beach. The parasols do not cover the sun and the sun is strong. The parasols that include the day pass are not close to the beach. The beds have an extra cost but are comfortable and protect from the sun. 6. The costs of the restaurant menu are the prices of almost the entire island area of Cartagena, from $35,000 pesos and up. The food is delicious, a good portion and served on time in an orderly and comfortable manner. 7. The DJ is varied, it is not just reggaeton (I speak from my personal taste, without detracting from those who only listen to this type of music). Sometimes the music gets too loud (I speak from my personal taste) being such a beautiful place, with nesting birds, it would be good to keep a balanced volume where you could rest and enjoy nature without so much noise. 8. We were looking for a quiet place, without excessive partying, we wanted peace and there we found it, it is a very nice place. 9. The area that has a very natural smell is the back beach where there is a greater concentration of birds, but the rest of the island does not have it. The beach in front is small and rocky but clean and transparent. It is good to wear beach shoes. 10. The return seemed fantastic to me, since safety and comfort prevail since the return by sea can be quite hectic and instead they chose the route through the dam channel, we were able to observe the river and travel comfortably without any problems. It seemed very accurate to me. 11. It is a beautiful, comfortable place with very kind hosts, delicious food, and a very pleasant atmosphere. We would definitely love to return. The birds give it a beautiful touch. We enjoyed the day very much.

Small yet intimate beach club - We joined Top 3 Islands Tour and this was the first stop. Small yet intimate beach spot for sure. We were greeted with a welcome drink and escorted to our beach chairs. Water is warm and calm. A bit rocky so wear your water shoes. Birds everywhere. We didn’t mind - we’re surrounded by nature after all. It has a small pool in the middle. It was way too hot when we were there so we stayed on the other side of the beach with shade. We had a great time.

beautiful! - Although this beach club is very new, the place is beautiful since it is a private island only for the club. It also has as a super attraction that there lives a colony of huge and beautiful birds! The beach has some corals but it is very good.

Average beach club, needs TLC - The beaches are amazing!!! Pao pao has the potential, just needs to be cleaned up! The birds are gross and it smells. There is bird poop on the umbrellas. 😅 Eric was our waiter, he was the best!!!! The boat ride was INTENSE! I wish we would have been warned. We were absolutely soaked!!!

MEH; There Are Better Options - I went to Pao Pao for the day and purchased their day pass experience through their website. The island itself is not the prettiest in the area nor has the clearest water. I agree with other reviewers that cleanliness is lacking. The day pass gets you to the island (vey tiny compared to other resorts; there are two small beaches for swimming) and includes lunch and the boat ride there and back. THAT IS IT. Everything else you must pay for including the soft drink you order with your lunch, lounge chairs and even towels. There is also a port fee that each visitor has to pay before boarding the boat. You're only really at the island from around 9:30 to 2ish PM, as at around that time you are summoned to board the small boat. The pool advertised on the website is incredibly small. Workers on the island are friendly enough. Pao Pao can improve by including some basics with the package, including towels, a drink with lunch, the port fee and lounge chairs. Either that or decrease the package price but clarify that anything beyond the boat ride and the lunch plate must be paid for. I also highly suggest an outdoor shower or two for rinsing. I don't recommend Pao Pao unless you really want to do a day trip to the islands and all other resorts are already booked on the day you want to go.

Not recommended. A scam - The worst tour... left 50 minutes late and returned an hour and 20 minutes early. Not worth the Top 3 islands tour. From TOP you have nothing... the only one worth it is Bora Bora and paying extra to enter the VIP so you better take a private boat and own your own schedules. I was robbed.

One of the worst travel experiences of my life - We thought that the people in the other comments were exaggerating. And sadly enough, we went on this tour after reading all of it. The place is way overpriced for the offer. We paid 310.000 pesos for a tour that was supposed to be a beautiful day by the beach, and the experience couldn't be farther from that. First, the entire place is full of huge birds that fly over your head the whole day and yes, they poop at you many times. Second, the beach is really small and dirty. We went on a cloudy day, and it's not although is not the beach club fault, it made the sea look very bad and no one from the entire tour wanted to go into the water, especially because those birds were there the entire time. To finalize, the music. Is extremely loud from the time you get there to when you leave. You cannot hear the sea or take a nap by the sun without that annoying noise. The only good point was the food. It was nice, but again, not worth the price. And the people that worked there were friendly. I believe they need to rethink and clean the place before charging people to visit there. It felt like a scam!
